Gas gone in an hour=leak. Need to run leak detector through system. Considering how fast it went should be quick and easy. What kind of compressor did you get and did you change hoses and recommended accessories like receiver drier etc at the same time?

Ma, i don't know much about the compressor specifics but it had a Ford Mondeo tag on it( Tokunbo, not brand new) .

Ma, I'd like to know how much you'll charge to help me run a leakage test because i don't want these dubious AC technicians to lay their hands on my dashboard. I don't want the car to start nursing any self -inflicted injury.

Currently using a 2.4L engine, it is shortening oil, the recommended lubricant is 5w-20, which thicker oil can i use.

Using a thicker oil only delays the inevitable. You should get it fixed now to prevent further damage
