My sister, that was when I first considered the company. But it was not too late. The stock was at 7.85 or there about, at that time.

But on another note, the company did not do so bad. If you have it, don't sell at a loss.

If you look closely at the result you will notice that the loss was due to discontinued business/operations. This might have something to do with the rights issue on UPDC. I may be wrong.

It's obvious na

Those complaining about the uacn result you no de see well?
Can't you see that the actual eps is N3.44 or 344k
What you refer to as loss has to do with the unbundling.
Am a very busy man sometimes I don't have time to type.
I'm really impressed by the result.
Some wise men have already moved the price up while you are busy complaining grin grin grin

My ogas, I studied engineering; therefore, my accounting skills no dey there.
Please I'd like to clarify some points. If UACN accounted for the losses made in UPDC this quarter, will they also account for it next quarter? Like Ucheson mentioned, the eps declared was 344k (which is impressive). If dem pay for the un-bundling this quarter, then they may be able to declare a net positive eps next quarter. I no know accounting o undecided undecided undecided

Bro look at the result very well. You will see it.

It is paper profit, based on what I saw. Until proven otherwise. It is eps before all the deductions.

The only likely explanation for the change in tone/revert with the 1st 2 post above and the most recent below is because with those 2, u had the coy, but with the last(ur post today), u no longer do !!
I find it really interesting that u did put out the 1st 2 post when UACN was selling for near the same N8(above N7), with the very same Q2 result u initially referenced as the back up to the then price rise, but which u have now denied with ur recent post. grin grin
I am also struggling to find a better meaning to the words; 'contrasting' and 'contradictory' given the parts in bold.

I would've asked for an explanation, but then I remembered that u will most probably come back here to justify why the same company should even trade above N8 when u re-enter the stock. wink cheesy grin

While I am not against ur unconventional and Machiavellian strategy(or that of any individual for that matter), I think it will be best if we don't put out these sought of antithetical statements for the sake of the new and susceptible ones in our midst.
...u can always follow through with ur strategy without putting them out here. That way, u won't appear to be delusive(which I presume u are not)

Again, pls kindly note that I do not have anything against u.
In the end, we all have our different approach to valuing an asset. And for us, this UACN Q3 financial print still showed a lot of POSITIVE with the drive for VALUE(risk-return margin in view ) wink cheesy grin
Anyone in doubt or who's uncomfortable with holding this valuable asset should pls, sell off their stakes.

Regards.

Finally, the bashing begins on UACN.
Another cash cow is born.
What is new in the result that was not anticipated with UPDC still in the books?
I respect every opinion.
May the price be adversely affected oh.

Anyone that is still confused about the UACN Q3 result may have to revisit the UPDC F. H. for clearification.
What UPDC is doing with UPDCREIT is exactly what UACN is doing with UPDC.
The way UPDC will hold AGM/EGM/COGM to seek the approval of it's shareholders to unbundle the subsidiary UPDCREIT, that is the same way UACN will hold it's own AGM/EGM/COGM to seek the approval of it's own shareholders to unbundle the subsidiary UPDC.

STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 31 OCT 2019
Market still in consolidation mode, with no clear direction yet. We are waiting for the market to start responding to the various results, after which we will know what to do. For now we are still not interested in new positions. We are likely to start exiting some of our positions, if the equities fail to behave as expected .

MSCI is not active in the market.

firstly i have no uacn in my portfolio and i have never bought the stock before, those who know me and my portfolio can confirm this to u. i am not here to promote any stock or bad mouth any. i dont own more than two stock at any time and am not a trader meaning it take time for me to buy or sell stock but i come here often pointed out to more than 10 stocks . it fun to me

about ur quoted post. re read my yesterday post. thank God i put N8 plus. i still stand with the Sept. 17 post u quoted. both sept 17 post and yesterday post are saying the same things. not that uacn have no numbers atall. let me help u to understand my post well

when i made first post u quoted in Sept Uacn was trading within my fairp according to my bedsheed o grin the reason i reply Uchetoba in comparison with UPDC runs but uacn move outside my fp when it begin trading above N7 so i have no numbers to back it up and i notice memeber here are buying around N7 mercy & co with hope of moving 200% with d merger/acquisition talk. so in order not to spoil party i kept quiet, reason for my post yesterday.

to you u think the Q3 release yesterday was superb abi. ok o anyway except they bring the merger/acquision talk back again i dont see uacn reach N8 for now

just know that i dont window dressing any stock here whether in my portfolio or not. example was Dangote Sugar, check my yesterday post on it based on Q3. i posted what i see as fp here without over stated and i told the house i will be selling it to buy more good stock.

grin grin grin grin grin grin

On this forum its in this order: Agba, OGG, Meshpips.

I just think the result has been factored into the share price already, it might not fall that much. Those who have eyes are equally watching it keenly.
Na my opinion o.

Until an accountant explains the result, its still hasty to conclude that UACN is ''bad'' market. I get interest in this stock. I'llbuy in bits when the fall ''stabilizes''. All I wan confirm be say UACN no go declare loss ontop UPDC again, becos dem don pay 17bn for am. Because all these accountants can be funny with dem IFS 35 blah blah blah. Those offering for sale may not really understand why dem wan sell. Buyer's market.
