Hi everyone,

I applied for a business Visa as I have a training/course in Brazil.
I submitted my docs, LOI from my company and the training facility.
I submitted 10th of this month, still under review.

The training date is the 3rd of Nov, is there anyway at all to expedite the process?
Thanks

Don't bother if it's already showing you'll be called for an interview if they see that it's game over

don't be discouraged, Let you and your husband apply together then your husband can attend the Interview by himself. Good luck

Samuelsoma:
Any airport is fine but as I have once mentioned sometime ago on this platform, I will always recommend GIG (Rio)

When I applied, I only scanned and upload my signature, int passport and passport photograph. I don't think its neccesary to upload SOA, unless it a new development.
ptaller:

Congratulations bro! Wish you all the best. Pls, we want to submit a group application from our office fully sponsored by the company, but aside other supporting documents, the statement of account is about 200 pages, are we going to scan all the pages of the SOA with other documents, then submit everything at the embassy? Pls reply bro its urgent. Thanks in advance & congrats once again.

OKay, thank you
Adjo10:

It all depends on the immigration officer not the airport. Since you have a tourist visa, you must appear as a tourist. You are free not use the VIP lane at the airport for Pregnant and old people unless of course you cannot really stand on the normal lane due to very long queue. You are under no legal obligation to use the lane. It is a matter of choice..

Wawu!!!! 200pages for just 6months statement of account or is it more than 6months? thats pretty massive but then i think you guys will take the pain of scanning them since SOA is one of the requirements. Hopefully the file size is not more than what you can upload, probably after scanning you can try and compress the file size if it appears too large.

Thanks bro. Will do that. Have a blessed day

Can I get citizenship Wen I married their daughter and I'm on tourist visit

The only country in the world that grants you unconditional automatic citizenship by marrying their national in Cape Verde. You have to meet other requirements in addition to just marrying someone to become a citizens in any other country including Brazil and Nigeria.

So the answer to your question is a NO. Marrying a Brazilian only gives you residency no matter the visa type you entered with but even that is not as easy as it may sound. You may not even get your marriage documents in hand by the time your tourist visa expires in Brazil. Marriage bureaucracy is a different level here.

After getting residency, you will have to fulfill certain demands including minimum physical presence in Brazil, Portuguese language skills and many more before you can even qualify for citizenship.

Cheers

Hello house,

please i need help with answers to the following questions:

1. Will a husband and wife apply separately(individually) or together with one as the principal and the other attached/dependant?

2. Will both husband and wife individual SOA be included in the application?

3. What about a situation where only one spouse can provide a salary account statement with pay slip but without significant account balance, while the other spouse without a salary account statement has a very significant account balance? Will both accounts be accepted individually or collectively for an application?

4. If a wife delivers without the husband present with her in the country, after formalizing baby/babies citizenship, will wife and husband acquire PR together or just wife? If just wife, how will husband acquire his?

5. How long after delivery will baby/babies acquire citizenship and parents acquire PR?

6. How long after PR will parents qualify for citizenship and passport?

7. Is travel history very important for both spouse to obtain a visa? Or Can the travel history of one spouse cover for both?

8. Which destination(s) can serve for a good travel history?

Please answers to the above questions will really help and be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You didn't read this thread if you did you won't ask this uncountable questions cos most/all of your questions have been answered by Her Excellency Adjo10.

Due to the idleness worrying me today I will try to answer some using what I read from all the contributors to the thread. I answer thus:

1.) Toksvik recently applied for himself and his DW and he said he paid tourist for himself and medical visa fee for madam. He applied together and submitted for both of them. So u can apply together but don't apply for medical visa.

2.) I think Yes, not sure though.

3.) I don't know what will work in this case but I think the one with more fund can be primary applicant while the other account owner will support.

4.) Adjo10 wrote extensively on this and she mentioned a XI visa or so. Incase the father wants to visit after having a child who is a citizen, the Visa will allow the father travel and start his own PR application. Check Adjo10 profile and go through all her post.

5.) Within 3 months except something something happens or you dey Sao Paulo or any other busy cities.

6.) Underfined; because you need to learn and speak Portuguese, meet some criterias like living in Brazil for some period, pass exam, etc.

7.) What God has joined together Brazil Consular won't put asunder so I don't think it matters.

8.) Answer this one yourself. Kilode! :

9.) Miscellaneous

10.) Omo! you be questionnaire on ur own.

Whenever I see a page I am interested in, the first thing I do, is start reading from page one silently, till I finish the whole thread. And if there are information I need that I didn't see, then I will ask and while reading, I always go to google to research myself. All your questions has been answered by beloved adjo or someone else here. Please read from page one next time.

1.if you're are going with her, apply together.
2. If you have enough money in youe account to convince the V.O that you can cover the trip without putting hole in your pocket, I think yours is ok.
3. I believe the second person should have proof of his/her funds. If he/she doesn't have a job, you should at least have a business and present your business certificate its one of the requirements to apply for any visa.
4. Only the wife will get the PR, you don't expect anybody to give you PR when you're in Naija. And if you go with your wife, you will stay back in Brazil with your wife after the birth of your child, for at least 3months to get the PR.
5. Within 3months
6. After about 2, 3, 4 or even 8 years Adjo got Hers after a year, but some people said it could take longer just read the thread you will know why.
7. If I am a VO and you're applying for tourist visa I will want to know whether you've traveled for tourism before. So its important I believe. But you can also get a visa on a virgin passport.
8. UAE one or two African countries, shenghen etc. If you can afford it, travel and build history, if you can't just go ahead and apply our level of grace is different. Someone might get a Visa for the first time another person can be denied because you have not traveled enough to convince them that you will leave their country after your tour.
