Please house, can someone actually help me with this tier 1or tier 2 Universities. Is it only peculiar to Nigeria? I graduated from AAUA and my Anzsco code is 212412 with 8 years experience.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by aaffluent: 4:12pm On Nov 01, 2019
That’s Tier 2. It’s a 4yrs at your institution. Only if it’s from a recognized Fed Uni or a 5yrs course.

This is a long way and it would cost you a fortune than any other assessment with less probability of getting positive assessment outcome as it involves technical interview which is not held in West Africa. Pastry Chef or Commercial cookery with the need to have prior education from recognized institution on that discipline and at least 3yrs of experience that are verifiable with tax, payslips, bank statements or pension.

Even if my course is 4 years course all over the institutions in Nigeria? I studied Mass Communication and has been working as a News Editor for 8 years now anyways thanks for the response. No need assessing since its a negative outcome from onset

Federal uni like Ui, Oau, Lag can be a Tier 1. Don’t get me wrong, if your occupation is not Level 1, you stand a chance. Research on what matches your experience and qualification then send copy of your cert with transcript to assessing body for a review before going ahead with your assessment.

If the occupation you intend to apply for it's a level 2, then you are fine. Also if you have a BSC and Masters in the same or related course, then it would help with your assessment.

Question is what occupation do you intend to nominate

Can I use only ND certificate to claim the 10 point because my post experience is much compare to my HND I just got

Thanks uqw
I can't say cos I haven't seen anyone assess with just ND only. (there could be).
You may use the document checking skills assessment service of Vetassess to confirm. I think it cost AUD110

Does your spouse have Trade test certificates I, II, and III as a Baker?
Does she have up to 3 years experience as a Baker?
Does she have at least 1 of these documents: bank statements (showing salary), pension statement or tax clearance for all her years of experience as a Baker?
If the answers to all the 3 questions are Yes, then you are good to go.

Diploma in social work
Bsc in sociology

Spouse: Bsc Economics And
ICAN
4years in Clearing
6 years in Business Unit

You can go ahead and assess as a Social worker or any other related occupations (check www.anzscosearch.com)

6 years in Business Unit as what? Pls be specific with job titles not department or unit
The ICAN will not help except its an accounting related occupation you are nominating. Which school did your spouse graduate from?

I don't know if it's peculiar to Nigeria only but our education profile has not been updated since 2013.
For 212412, if your degree from AAUA was not a 5 year course, you can't assess for this occupation.

Hello nairalanders, am at a crossroad right now and I will need a critical evaluation of my situation on how to go about it or to just give it up.

Me and My girlfriend who happens to be a permant resident in Australia want us to get married in Nigeria at the end of January/February.

We have wanted to explore the Australia Partner visa but the most important requirement which is to live together for at least 12months is very hard to attain. She will return to Australia after the marriage and I will be here in Nigeria. (I don't know if am wrong on this requirement or there is another way around it)

But with my little research, I was thinking we could explore the family sponsored visiting visa. This will give us the chance to live together to fulfill the the 12months requirements. Before the visiting visa expires, we can then apply for partner visa. In turn, I will be given a Bridging visa to stay in Australia till the partner visa application is finalised.

Now, the problem is successfully securing the visiting visa. I only have a small business I run. It's not even registered, no travel history, I have no properties or substantial finances which are requirements for seeking a visiting visa.

I want to ask if this method of mine is possible especially getting the visiting visa with my defenciencies OR there are other suggested methods we could explore?

Help me thank God ooo.. My family was showered with Vetassess Positive response today after 12weeks and 6days.

Like @tunlex01 suggested, I want to share this news with you guys also. We submitted only HND certificate and transcript from Lagos
State Polytechnic. It was assessed as comparable to the educational level of an AQF Advanced Diploma. We did not declare nor submit anything for ND.

With DHA torchlighing every application now,
If you can fit all the payslips into a 5MB file, you can submit for every month but if it can't, 3 per year claimed should do.
Also don't forget third party evidence like tax, pension, bank account statement is now compulsory.
