Well you'd be surprised. I studied in the UK and I quite regret it. When my mates where crossing to Canada for PG, I took the UK route... turned out to be one of the worst decisions I ever took because when I finished my program, I received an email expressly instructing me to return to my country sad

My classmates in the West by the second year of their stay had already been absolved absorbed into different organizations. I'm talking about 2012.

Today, all of them are Canadian citizens. The UK just recently upturned that ridiculous policy and now give extra 2 years visa after you finish your program to encourage more foreign students to come there as they where loosing losing their prospects to Canada.

I prefer to offer a job to a person who studied in Nigeria than one who studied overseas.
Getting information I required are always easier than one voice lurking in a park claiming to be a professor or faculty head

I think the only regret a foreign student can have.. Is trying to fit in with the peers. Like some might laugh at ur Africa accent and not take u serious.. Another instance is you're black but not just black.. An "African" black.. Also eyes will always be on the African wanna see how you'll fail or succeed.. But it's all good..

A subject that was supposed to be a serious one has been hijacked by miscreants. Why ? Must you comment on every thread?

It can't be generalised so might as well have fun with it. Everyone's experience is different. Whatever anybody tells u here applies to HIM. Times change. Circumstances change. Change is constant

Initially I did when I settled for a job of 60k salary per month with a masters degree from a uk university.

But now when I look back I smile and say it’s worth the sacrifice after all.

I did masters in the UK and no regrets so far. I doubt there will ever be.

As long as you have genuine hunger for knowledge and money is not your primary motivation, you should have no regrets.

Well most people prefer knowledge that's practical enough to be monetized

I arrived in UK September 2005 for a Masters Program.( then you didn't have to pay School fees) until arrival.I remembered when I got my Admission to Staffordshire University just like yesterday.

One of my Friends badmouthed my Admission behind my back that My Admission letter was a 419 document.

I Remembered when I use to work in a PiZZA Shop Weeks after Arrival.

Now I am a British Citizen .Lord I am Grateful.

I dont Regret having a Master's Abroad. If you have the Opportunity Pls Grab it with both hands.
