Reno Omokri has replied the Indimi family after they attacked him over the comment he made referring to their family earlier today.


This morning, Reno called out their family and other wealthy Northern families after billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, donated N5 billion to Save the Children Fund. The money is expected to be used for the upkeep of impoverished children in Katsina, Adamawa and Borno state.
In his post, Reno opined that many of the wealthy families in the North, the Indimis inclusive, are only known for flaunting private jets and getting married to chilldren of presidents instead of using their wealth to better the lot of children in the region.
The Indimis in their response, asked Reno to take it up with God if he is mad that they are getting married to important persons. They also asked Reno to list his achievements asides him being an ex-presidential aide.

Dear Indimi Family,

I saw your post attacking me. You shouldn’t see my criticism of your obscene display of wealth in the midst of the extreme poverty surrounding you as hate, neither should you see my opposition to your powerful in law, General Buhari, as bitterness. That is rather petty. Opposition is a vital part of democracy, and I am not asking you to do what I have not done. I hate to do this. I would prefer to keep it private. But since you challenge me, please find attached a picture of an orphanage I built with my hard earned money to house orphans from Borno IDP. Yet, I am not from Borno. I have also travelled to 36 countries so far in 2019, campaigning for #FreeLeahSharibu, a native of Borno, where you come from. I don’t have one percent of one percent of your wealth. You can’t be flaunting private jets and spending hundreds of millions when you are surrounded by the worst poverty on planet Earth and expect not to get called out! Otedola, out of the kindness of his hear, has decided to extend a helping hand to people in need and punks like Reno, along with his herd of incorrigible fools, have chosen to make a mess of the entire intervention.

First off, otedola never appointed them to speak on or publicise what he has done, on his behalf. Why are they running their mouths and fingers over it?

Atiku was the same man they boasted, just months ago, is the only man in the north rich enough to match the financial war chest of APC, hence their expectation at the polls. Today, the same Atiku has become so poor he is incapable of helping anyone, hence beyond reproach. Or, maybe he's even a southerner therefore shares no such responsibility as the Ndimis.

And that is what the Northerners want to replicate in the whole Southern part of Nigeria. Destroy every means of power or influence the Southerners have make them be subjected to your whims and caprices.

Why did Reno leave out Dangote? Personal interest?

As much as I think Reno is sometimes mischievous; that guy has got facts and he sure knows how and when to use them.

No doubt, the indimis does charity. But when you compare it to how and where they got their wealth from and the level of poverty and chaos in their immediate community; you will agree with Reno that people like Indimi have done very little for their people. Very little.

A Kalabari man was telling me the other day that he won't be surprised if the Indimis who made their wealth from oil in Niger delta have not visited the community where their wells are located. Now, I laugh. Someone who hardly has any impact on his immediate community will not care to visit a "foreign" land.

Atiku took a meeting to Dubai and published an impractical encyclopedia of how to get Nigeria working again....Reno was a principal facilitator of that encyclopedia. Tell me any state in Nigeria that does not have poverty. Tell any state in Nigeria that does not have citizens that own private jets.
Tell how many of those private jet owners are involved in and engaged in removing the poverty that sorround them.

The poverty rate of other states cannot be compared with that of Bornu state coupled with terrorism and IDPs in thousands.. the rich and affluent who happens to be the Govt directly and indirectly should do more rather than flaunting private jets. that is the point Reno was making. He even posited that in his own meagre wealth and influence, he seems to have had better outreach despite being a southerner.
