Hello all, so i heard that there is a particular email to copy as a reply to the acknowledgement mail from BC after applying for EOR, pls who knows the email address and the structure of its content?
I requested for a remark in my writing which was 6.5 last week Tuesday and got an acknowledgement mail today, i heard i have to follow up with a mail and copy some others, pls i need this mail adresses if they exist and if this action is needed. Thanks
For British Council, you need to raise a bank draft in any bank you have an account with.
British Council would be the Recipient.
15k would be the amount.
take the bank draft to BC office with your old TRF(test result form).
you would be given a form to fill where you would check(mark) the components you need to remark while your old TRF would be collected from you.
you should also send a follow up mail to the following:
general.enquiries@britishcouncil.org
Frederick.Amatokwu@ng.britishcouncil.org
Tolulope.Olofinjana@ng.britishcouncil.org
Alexander.Ofuyah@ng.britishcouncil.org
Goodluck.

Hey Bro, I haven't been here since I posted that testimony cos I have been preparing for a Professional Exam alongside working. Thanks man for your help with this. I really wanted her to scale that IELTS hurdle and I am sure that you were super instrumental in shaping her writing and the way she sees the test generally. PS: On the upside, I do not have anything against your E-mail address or your beliefs and I am sure you might have heard this so many times before but when I first saw the E-mail address, it did not bestow confidence in your ability. It first sounded like a joke to me cos I was thinking from the perspective that what kind of professional uses this kinda email address but the testimonies from other people about you made me look beyond that in a heartbeat. Thanks once again and goodluck to you @johnnybravo1990
johnnybravo1990:

I’m so glad to be instrumental to your sister’s success. As for the bolded statement, I’m glad that didn’t deter you from approaching me. winkAnyways, congrats. Wish you guys the best. And thanks for sharing your story.

It's PPR 2.0!!!

PPR 1.0 here

Timeline
AOR Feb 18
1st PPR - July 15
August 2 - Notified CIC of upcoming marriage (dem no even send)
August 8 - Notified CIC again of change in marital status, but this time I attached marriage certificate. I also sent an email to OVO and AVO with the marriage certificate attached
August 15 - Got a response that my marriage certificate has been forwarded to AVO and that I should write to them. I did as instructed, no response.
August 21 - Request letter to add spouse. I shared the letter here and here .
August 25 - Submitted the ADRs.
September 3 - ADR to pay spouse biometrics and spouse UCI updated. Paid within an hour and attached the receipt through a web form. Got BIL hours later.
September 4 - Raised CSE to change spouse's name on file and passport number. Changes effected and a revised BIL with new name sent within an hour.
September 6 - Completed biometrics. Application updated with biometrics number.
September 9 - MEP updated.
September 26 - Got ADR to fill schedule A for both PA and spouse. I submitted this same day.

Then a long silence filled with anxieties and frustrations... no thanks to AVO. While waiting, I ordered a note and raised several CSEs.

November 19 - PPR 2.0.

It has ended in praise.

My opinion: Any one you or she is comfy with. If she wants to have your name in the evaluation, she should send in evidence of marriage and change of name. Others can weigh in their thoughts

In my opinion, it’s not necessary since investment is in your name, but in other to sleep with two eyes closed after AOR a simple LOE can just mention the source. Just keep it simple you are good with the investment in your name.

I am sorry to bug you a little. I have almost the same issue. My wife is PA and i want to use Stanbic IBTC Money Market and our joint name in the Investment account. Is it wise to use the joint name or just her name alone? I am sending the money from my own account. Will i be required to provide my own statement of account while filling ITA? Or will LOE suffice?

Thanks in anticipation.

I think i will use my family (husband) name, because her international passport carrys my (husband) name...but will i avoid her surname completely on the wes registration page...also do i have to send an evidence of marriage (marriage certificate) and newspaper of change of name to wes?

I heartily rejoice with PPR recipients grin. The good news sure brings a smile to my face. I keep seeing Ottawa PPR rain. Anybody received PPR from Accra Visa Office (AVO) (Their primary visa office being AVO and the file was not sent to AVO due to change in marital circumstances) with AOR from April 2019 to June 2019? December is fast approaching and these guys would soon go on holiday cry cry. It is well

there is no issue as regards the joint name, you might include the statement to show the transfer of fund to your wife. you are good to go. add the simple LOE too just to cross your "t" and dot your "i" smiley

Yes, you should send the marriage certificate and change of name. If you have court affidavit of change of name, that would be better. If not, use the newspaper change of name. During registration, use your family name.

Yes, it did. Nothing noteworthy.

In the officer review section, it just shows "Proof of fund - met" No analysis relating to the makeup is mentioned in the Notes.

Lol,.. I've got this respect for you since I joined this thread but then I can't but help pointing it out that you've also got this cocky way you go about your things! I don't know if I'm the only one who has this mixed feeling about your personality though.. Sorry if I did ruffle any feather with my comment. I observe a lot and it was only a matter of time for me to point this out..

You’re welcome. Just the way Nairaland is supposed to an informal forum. Just the way ‘johnnybravo’ is supposed to a fun name I chose use here, religionnascam@outlook.com is what I like to use here: it was one of my spare emails I created randomly in my boredom. If anyone allows the email repel them from coming to me for assistance in IELTS, good luck to them. But I’ll continue to do my good work, and I must say, I’m good at what I do.

No offence taken. It’s self-esteem, bro. And in this world, if you don’t hype and sell yourself, no one will do that for you. wink

He understood better and packaged what I pointed out as his selling point. Bet you've never seen famous people getting put on a hot seat while being asked what people think of them..

You're the one trying to blow this out of proportion as you won't be the first to see that comment.
