The Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), an Upstream Subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has disowned a recruitment exercise being orchestrated by miscreants employing text messages, social media platforms and forged letterheads to achieve their nefarious aim, a release today in Abuja by the NNPC Acting Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Mr. Samson Makoji, said.

The statement warned unsuspecting members of the public to be wary of the activities of the fraudsters, saying recruitment exercise was the prerogative of the NNPC Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.

It explained that members of the public should note that NNPC would always advertise vacant positions at appropriate times, advising that applicants should be properly guided.

‘’Anyone contacted for the purpose of the purported recruitment other than through advertisement duly placed by the corporation in national newspapers should not hesitate to report such invitations to the relevant law enforcement agencies,’’ the statement said.

Heard this too last month from a friend, that a 1st class candidate of engineering was notified of success.
This was just few days b4 the MD said the recruitment will soon be concluded.
I too was doubtful of the info, that's why I didn't ask/say anything here.

Seeing similar info from someone else seems to attest to the credibility of the information.
It's like Nairalanders are still in the dark. And those who know about this are deliberately keeping silent
and laughing at the confusion.

It is good if a local man is giving APL, but one should be ready to make peace with himself/herself if the opposite is the case.

APL will be released on soon/11/2019 or soon/12/2019 or soon/2020.
Be patient if you can!!

Good morning house, I saw this on my WhatsApp platform, we are still debating how real it is, It was received Thursday last week, Acceptance should be submitted before Friday 29th Nov. Resumption 13th January 2020.
The letter looks kinda official, only that it's not clear enough for closer scrutiny.

The question is, considering the level of public interest invested it his exercise, will release of APL come without any public comments.
