Oshigun:Your either working for this APC government or very naive .So of all the things bothering the masses it's the social media bill that is of utmost importance?Sowore and Dasuki are languishing in jail and our lawmakers haven't called the president to order, people are unemployed and getting killed and the lawmakers don't want to address this ills but it's the social media bill that is their utmost priority and you don't smell a rat? Infact ,I give up on this conglomeration of people 10 Likes |

djdutchbrah:Bro, if this bill is passed into law, it may consume them (the politicians). This is because if any offender is arrested or killed, it could lead to a series of protests that may consume them. However, they made it for the South. So, my prediction may not come to pass, because the Northern youth can never join the Southern youth to protest against the rulers who are actually their kinsmen. 1 Like |

OyiboOyibo: Yes indeed. Passing Petroleum bill into law in record time, all other Senate ignored since 1999, that is highly beneficial for Nigeria certainly marks this Senate as the "most stupid" and "most foolish" indeed. 1 Like 1 Share |

djdutchbrah:Even the corrupt Chimaroke Nnamani spoke against it. That means he's better than those fat bellies there. Abaribe could not speak out against it again. This country's politicians love themselves, while we (the ordinary poor citizens) die defending those of them that are our kinsmen. But they're united in pauperizing us. They're from the same ethnic group called "CORRUPT ETHNIC GROUP". When are we going to unite and fight them? 3 Likes |

Your trust in a self righteous ex coupist is very naive to say the least, Army attempting to ask citizens for ID card, you supported, Hanging for hate speech you clapped, Social media bill you are cheering on. You really believe Sowore was cyber bullying Buhari? ? Obama was called an African they asked for his birth certificate, Trump screams 'fake news' yet CNN is live as I type Since FFK, Reno, etc have been talking who has been hurt except the ego of small men? voltron14: Don't mind them. They just want to shoot down everything proposed by the Government and all her arms. What is wrong with having robust regulation of social media that protects innocent and defenceless people having their reputations and lives destroyed daily by the lies and fabrications of irresponsible and callous users of social media. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Oshigun:Why can't they first make laws to kill corrupt politicians if proven guilty by court to have stolen public funds? Look at my fellow poor citizen defending corrupt politicians who don't mean well for you and me. They steal our collective wealth and then use it to send their children abroad for education, vacation and even stash the money in foreign banks. I can only take them serious if they enact a law to kill corrupt politicians and election riggers as well as thugs by hanging. 5 Likes |

I have just 1 question. The law makers that carried this bill to the senate, what region of Nigerian are they from?. Make we divide this country jeje. Let them enact pissing bill or bleeping bill, e no go concern us. The divide i mean is true division. |

Oshigun:You are embarrassing yourself.... Trump and indeed previous US presidents face avalanches of invective and grievious insults frequently and yet every developed society does not trifle with freedom of speech. We are talking of societies where the judicial system is advanced and court pronouncements are sancrosant. Just imagine the introduction of this draconian/tyrannical law to Nigeria where the judicial system is a rubber stamp...where right and wrong is subjective to the whims and caprices of people in authority. Most of you APC supporters really do not have conscience. 5 Likes |

StaffofOrayan: I did not support hanging anyone for anything. Get your facts right. That will never happen anyway. FFK saying the Buhari Government has killed Kanu and are holding his body offshore on a ship is not hurtful to anyone ba? FFK claiming Buhari has died abroad and even daring to tweet that as reproduced below is annoying to 'ego of small men' only? https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/wishing-buhari-dead.html “The true identity of the man in the Villa that claims to be Buhari will only be made known after he is defeated and steps down from power. When that happens Nigerians will be shocked to the marrow….” That was Femi Fani-Kayode’s (FFK’s) tweet last week. It quickly attracted 957 Retweets and 1487 Likes. Since then, many elements of the leading opposition party, PDP, have bought into the conspiracy theory. Outlandish as it is, several commentators suspiciously motivated by either hate or political partisanship, furthered the fable. What would people like you have Nigeria become? A joke nation any lunatic can just say what they want ,however inciting or dangerously incendiary such is, with no repercussion at all to serve as a deterrent for such irresponsible behaviour? Would FFK and co, year in and year out, have continued with their many lies, clearly intended to cause trouble for the Government of the day, if robust and punitive laws exist that stops them getting away with doing that? 1 Like 1 Share |
