You are judging from an emotional point of view and while doing so, you sounded very silly to me. What you are suggesting will only promote impunity. If they had been caught fvcking, then it would have been a different issue entirely. But since she was stvpid/careless enough to film her sex video, then she should bear the liability for her actions, just as the school is trying to manage the liability of bringing their corporate name to disrepute. In as much as I don't want to comment on this issue, I believe the parties involved understood what they were likely going to face if the video gets leaked during their academic year, and for the guy to "go around showcasing his sexual prowess to his fellows" is extremely dump. And the girl concenting to a video sex in the name of "love" this I refuse to quantify. But for the fact that she was able to swallow the sperm totally means she can handle anything that comes her way so lets all move forward.

The guy in question has some psychological problem and is in a rehab so what do u expect.

It's such an unfortunate case, one thing I want us to know is that it's the school's preoperative. Something similar happened during my university days as a fresher, there were two students caught on tape i.e both filmed themselves, one a chemistry 300l and the other another dept. Unfortunately, for them, their sex tape leaked and that resulted in their expulsion. So, in scenarios like this, the university like any other institution will always distance her self. Coz such runs against every institution's rules and regulations. Although, the crime as alleged may not be written in blue or black but sure if any runs against such would likely face expulsion or rustication.

I am not well acquainted with the law but I think it's absolutely wrong for Babcock university to have rusticated the lady for having sex outside the school campus. Here are my thoughts;

(1) The two actors are above 18 thus they are adults and they enjoyed a certain level of freedom as enshrined in the constitution.

(2) The act committed by the two actors was consensual, nobody was coarse into having sex

(3) The act itself was committed outside the premise of the lending institution, therefore, the school couldn't have been held responsible if anything has happened to the girl in the course of the act.

(4) From the video, it was obvious the lady was not aware the act was been recorded without her knowledge.

(5) Also does the school has the right to determine when their student should date? if no then I guess the school is overreacting to the private life of an adult.

(6) Anyway I would simply advise the lady to seek redress in the court of law. The actions of the management of the school shows they gave credence to the person who leaked the video online.

Even the parent would not make a case from the expulsion. Few of us that have been in that environment before understand what they stand for...this school reputation is involved...many parent send their wards to Babcock, Bowen, ABUAD etc because they want the child to be constantly mentored to greatness,limited freedom and not to be 'too exposed' like undergraduates in federal and state univ. If parents start believing the place isn't that 'safe' after all despite the huge investment on school fees and accommodation. That alone is a bad business for the school because it favors there competitors.
