Johnny1013: First, it was the Doctor gave you Ibuprofen for a headache (As if he committed murder doing so). Now it is the pharmacist said the dose was too much? What was the dose? You don't know. I am aware ibuprofen for an adult is usually 400mg, a pop, but can be as high as 800mg depending on circumstances. So how are we sure you even know what you are saying, egbon? 5 Likes |

trilobite: So the girl was kept on a hospital bed for those days? I thought Rigor Mortis sets in after a few hours, then the body starts decomposing ( or was she put in the morgue) I don't want to say it's a lie, but it sure sounds like a poorly scripted Kannywood story! 3 Likes |

lebete3000: What are you saying bros? The same typhoid people have been treating every 3 months for the past 10 years?! Resistant typhoid! I asked 2 people, from Mali and Senegal once, if they knew what typhoid is-- they had no freaking idea. But in Nigeria, everybody has typhoid until Widal test proves otherwise-- I have seen typhoid a few times and it is scary as hell! 1 Like 1 Share |

most people here are abusing doctors. Ask yourself? Are you dedicated to duties in your respective offices? Many professionals have contributed to death of citizens directly or indirectly due to their unprofessional conduct than doctors? Architects, civil engineers, autotechnicians ,teachers, lecturers, uniformed men, bankers etc are also guilty of professional neglect. if you are corrupt, your action or inaction can harm someone. Doctors are products of society that does not appreciate values and good morals. You are actually not different from doctors you are blaming. 2 Likes |

onyxo76: Well that must be due to the overprescribing culture that makes them think that unless theyre swallowing 5 tablets, they are going to die. Unless theres something really wrong with you you should only need 1 or 2 medicines. Sometimes they dont even need anything but good advice 1 Like |

passion007: You know what? If it didn't happen to someone I was so close to, I'd probably doubt like you because nobody doubt pass me for this life. But stuff really happened!! My friend was the one taking care of the girl's mother at the hospital through the ordeal. She called me crying one moment, and celebrated the next. The girl in question is with her big bro now in the states. The hospital didn't have those pulse checking equipment like you see in Hollywood movies!! So everything was based on the doctor's personal check. One medical person I put it to, said it happens sometimes. I am not going to give the name of the hospital in Kubwa Abuja, though I took a personal note of making sure people close to me flee from it. |

capitalzero: You can't compare all those professions you listed above to doctors. I mean it's human life they deal with. You CAN'T be too careful. Most of these complains might be exaggerated but that just serves to remind doctors that they're always going to be under a microscope as long as they practice medicine. |

lebete3000: Lol, why am I the one attracting castigation for rushing to correct a wrong statement That person was so wrong to mention that woman. Its like those British people just wanted to kill her I understand what youre saying though. But I just couldnt stand it Why is it so hard for people to look for the facts before condemning somebody? People will be doing jungle justice over the internet |

EasternPrince: Haha, again, showing that youre an illiterate bushman! If you had ever been anywhere outside of Mushin you would know that its prohibited for a doctor to pursue a romantic indulgence with his patient. Its an abuse of power. I guess your Texas hallucination is looking kind of implausible now, huh? |
