APPROVAL ALERT @ 1.49PM.

Let me use this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the contributors in this forum and my short prayer is whatever that is saying NO and NO to the YES of GOD in our endeavors shall be frustrated IJN.

This platform gave me JOB in 2008 and now a supernatural breakthrough in my life.. May God bless the founder of this platform.

My advise to all Canadian student VISA seekers should just read some of the threads as i read thread 16 from pali to pali(2x) and then back it up with prayers. No need to waste your money to hire agents as all what you need is in your "sokoto" here.

Hello IboBoyNuel,

Congratulations on the first phrase of your visa application. However, I will love to know the cost of your prospect program in Centennial college.

For immigration purpose through study route, the most suitable duration of studies is opting for a 2yr program. This qualifies you for a 3yr PGWP when compared to a 1yr program equals 1yr PGWP. With a 3yr PGWP, you can have sufficient time applying anf securing your PR.

However, with the 2yrs program after securing your 3yrs PGWP and then PR you can decide to do a Master program which will enable you pay cheaper tuition fees same as that of domestic students.

On the other hand, you can as well decide to pursue another 1yr program prior to the end of the first. The burden here is the tuition expenses and time. However, the completion of a two separate 1yr program can earn you 3yrs PGWP or as the case may be based on the discretion of IRCC.

In answering your questions:

1. Yes

2. You can make that decision following my analysis. But personally, i will go with a 2yr program.

All the best.

Thanks. the tuition expense is approximately 18K CAD per year. it's quite high i know. do you know of Any school offering cheaper Graduate Ceritificate programmes in Business Mgt?

thanks for the advice though.

It depends, from 7 days to 2 months and over.. Normally it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks.. But when its getting to a month or 2 months, then the applicant should be scared especially when he or she knws a fake SOA was submitted.... It will end in praise.. Peace

Yes I was issued a receipt from the school(Evergreen College). I filled the refund form and returned it with the refusal letter. They said it takes 4 to 5 weeks. I got a mail on the 14th that the money has been processed together with the Swift Copt of the transaction but till now the funds has not hit my account.
Hafa with yours? Did u call them on phone or sent an email for a reminder?

My own is taking 1month plus now. Submitted my passport together with my application(paper route). Kinda bothered but nothing fake was submitted.
What could be the reason for the delay in my case ?

From what I learnt here, it's a good sign if you've not gottem BVL after 1 month. You should be expecting a medical request soon.

This happens occasionally and it's not something you should be worried about. In view of this,
I would suggest you send a CSE to the Kenya (Nairobi) Immigration office via this email - nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca explaining the delayed refusal letter from their office.

The subject of the mail should bear URGENT, along side your FULL NAME, UCI NUMBER, APPLICATION NUMBER AND DATE OF BIRTH.

Also send your enquiry via THE NAIROBI WEB FORM.

The time to apply is NOW. We have 6 months left to the spring, May semester. Applying now will give the visa officer ample time to process your application and also prepare for your trip.

At most 2-3 weeks after submission you should receive your passport back. If it stays longer than this stipulated timeframe, then your application has been shifted for a secondary review at the Canadian embassy in Lagos.

Not compulsory to do so. However, if you have it there is no harm including it.

I will suggest you call the head office of your bank customer care and explain vividly to them with the processed refund document the school gave you, not the local branch because sometimes some of these branch customer care do not really have all the details at the headquarters. do that let us see how it goes.
for my own, they are yet to contact me, though it is 4 weeks already and I am still waiting cos they said 4-6 weeks.

I did my biometrics and submission since 18th of November. On the 19th, I got a letter that it is on its way to IRCC and on 20th got another mail that it had arrived. I just got a mail this evening reminding me of the biometrics, with a past date. What does this mean? I already completed my biometrics. Did anyone else get this message?
