The below are most likely some requirements to consider when applying

Pls can yu explain what yu mean byexported whatsapp chat or hiw to go abt it... 2.can I submit screenshot of the WhatsApp chat

You don't need to go to your network provider, you can get your call log online if you are registered with your network online or you do the screenshots

You can import your whatsapp chat and send it to yourself as an email or print it out, just google how to import whatsapp chat in ..the type of smart phone you use.

@justwise,pls can I use screenshot of Whatsapp chat instead of importing/exporting... Which one is acceptable?

Import it, you or your husband can do that and it’s very easy to do.

Any one is acceptable provided it shows date and time and year. Some people have used screen shot and visa was approved why some did export it was still successful. Export is faster BC you send everything to your email box and when u receive it then u download it and copy and paste it on Microsoft word and convert it to pdf later. But one thing with exporting is that the pages are more. For screen shot, u can pick four chat in a week and paste on Microsoft, in each month u can paste 16 screen shot.

The export is very easy . Follow the attached. u can do it.

Hi guys, for those that are using self-scanning or have used self-scanning, do the document type categories matter?
We are struggling to match what categories our documents should be uploaded to.

For example, where would whatsapp call history go? see attached

2b safe, y nt pay d 10k and let them do it 4 u to avoid any error...

Hello House,

Please I require the following clarification from someone who has submitted within the past 1 month on the submission procedure:

i. Do they upload/scan the documents in the TLS Centre in Lagos or I have to post them to the Scanning Hub in London?

ii. Could I get sample supporting letters used by the sponsor?

Thanks a lot.

Hello all,

For the bank statements, if the bank provides your statement electronically, will this be ok? There's nothing on the copies that say it's an e-statement. Or is it better to print it, take it to the bank to stamp, and then re-scan for uploading?

If you're requesting from a UK bank. Simply call your bank and request your 6 months bank statements. You would receive, within 7 days........

Please does anyone know if ukvi ielts is conducted in benin city ?

Does anyone have any ukvi ielts study materials to share or the link to websites where an individual can self study? Thanks

Lexusgs430
Bro, can you help? A friend is trying to bring his wife over to uk and they've been told she needs to take the test. I don't understand why this is a requirement for Nigerians considering the fact that English is our official language, we were colonised by the Brits and we are also a commonwealth nation? undecided

Ielts is the only option left..... Unfortunately.....

I presume the number included, is a telephone number. Call for address confirmation.

Ielts got two versions...... Ensure the right one is done, doing the wrong one, translates to lack of English knowledge and application failure...........

After 5/6 visit visa refusals between 2014 and 2017, fastforward to 2018 we switched to settlement visa after 103 working days wait In 2018 we got a refusal it was heartbreaking and felt like the end of the road i had to leave nairaland cos couldn't stand the comments and pple sharing their success stories! LOL In 2019 after 156 working days nightmares we finally got our YES! My family has been separated for nearly 5 years. We’ve spent thousands of pounds on visits, visit visa applications, calls to HO, lets not even talk about the emotional trauma we’ve been through. I had already given up hope about hearing from Home Office this year but God had other plans for me. My timeline is crazy, i can’t even believe it myself. We paid for priority but I’ve learnt that every application is different so don’t compare yours with someone else’s.

Category A salaried employment

Country of application: Nigeria
Application submitted: 3rd May 2019
Biometrics: 13th May 2019
ECO consideration email: 31st May 2019 (14WD)
Request for further documents: 19th June 2019 (27WD)
Further doc submitted the next day on 20th June 2019
Email saying further checks were being done: 3rd July 2019 (37WD)
NSF email: 2nd August 2018 (59WD)
In between 2nd August till the last day, countless calls and emails and complaints to HO were made but they insisted that the further checks must be completed and they could not disclose the nature of the checks. I involved my MP and he emailed them more than 3/4 times and he got the same reply as me each time. I sent different complaints to different HO email addresses but none helped as I was getting the same reply. I stopped escalating and calling and complaining as these weren’t helping me instead it made me and my spouse even more frustrated.
9th December 2019: Called to escalate and they said still awaiting decision (149WD)
18th December 2019 (156WD): TLS collection email
We finally got our yes!!! Christmas definitely came early for us. I had given up all hope. I submitted all the right documents, did everything correctly so I honestly can’t explain what happened or why it took so long or the nature of the further checks as they refused to disclose what it was. I’m just happy this nightmare is over. No calls to me or my employer. Just request for further document. I’ve learnt that everything has a time, if you’re waiting longer than others, one day, just out of the blues, when you least expected it, you will get your yes. Be patient!!!
