I initially got an appointment for next week Tuesday, on the email, the premium lounge reads 10/12/2019. Just checked back and was able to cancel and appointment for tomorrow 10:30pm (no premium lounge).

I just want to be sure there is no longer a problem

Ashirioluwa:

Why don't you try to cancel it

Hello House,

I have a few questions please.

1. Please is it necessary to add flight reservation (not paid) to one'se visa application?

2. Does one need to include an itinerary in the cover letter? As in breakdown of expenses for 7 days for each person (wife and husband) for JANUARY 2020 trip:

Flight: £700
Hotel : £300
Feeding : £140
Local transportation £100
Shopping: £260

TOTAL £1500

Thanks for your kind responses.

1. It is advisable you include a flight reservation (book on hold) in your application. It helps to give an idea of the cost of the flight for the trip.

2. It is advisable also that you include a breakdown of expenses for the trip. This serves as the sum total of the budget for the trip. In my own case, I included it in the space for additional information on the application form. However, don't you think it's better you give a total sum of all expenses for the trip for all parties involved rather than splitting the expenses for each individual?

Gurus in the house, please help me

I booked an appointment for 10:30pm tomorrow and I have paid my 55 pounds, but when I checked the email they sent to me, I discovered that I had selected - premium lounge (that must have been a mistake).

I don't need a premium lounge, please if I decide not to pay the 42,000 tomorrow at TLS, will there be any problem

Good afternoon house.
Am here again grin
Please am a JJC traveler.
My husband booked Emirates for us.
What do i need to know/do/have traveling Lagos - Dubai - Manchester.
What are the must have documents. (I am going for Yellow card tomorrow.)
Also POE advice/requirements

I googled these questions but most of the responses are 2005, 2012 etc. I didn't have anything recent.
So thats why i decided to come to the people who made it possible in the first place.

Thanks in advance

What you basically need for the trip is your international passport carrying your valid UK visa stamp. You don't need a yellow card or vaccination card. Also, if you will be entering Dubai, you require a Dubai visa, and if not, you are good to go.

At the POE, you will be asked questions like how long you intend staying, where you will be staying, what you will be doing for the duration of stay, and if you have a return ticket. If this is your first trip after getting the visa, try as much as possible to maintain the hotel you stated on your visa application form. Border Force tend to call hotels to confirm bookings.

Hello house.
Please I just made a very careless mistake in my application now.
I uploaded over 30 different supporting documents but in all of them I forgot to upload my husband's (he is the sponsor and the one inviting me and our daughter) passport data-page/ILR permit. I had already clicked on submit before I remembered that I did not add that to the documents submitted.
Kindly advise what I can do to remedy this mistake please. I feel very bad right now. My biometrics appointment is Tuesday 10th.
Thank you.

OK, Thanks.
Apart from Lagos-London direct flights, can one have a flight that passes through other countries like ITALY, TURKEY, MOROCCO?
Thanks.

Yes you can book other non-direct flights. There is no restriction on the type of flight to be used.

Another success news from a friend in the UK who sponsored his sister-in-law for UK Visitor visa.

It is now a fact that you can get UK visitor visa even though you state in your visa application that you are unemployed
His sister-in--law was unemployed but receive regular money from her family members and husband acting as a housewife. This was reflected in her account.
She has her home ties intact and my friend was responsible for all her budget for the trip as her sponsor
and showed his evidence too. UK visitor visa is not about how much you have. It is about proving what you claim you have
as stated in your visa application.

Hi,

I want to apply for UK tourist Visa for my mom. We dont have any relatives in UK or close friends.

Shes is a retired civil servant getting pension from the govt and monthly allowance from me. She has 2 houses and landed properties in her name(lot of undeveloped lands).

I intend to be her sponsor and I reside in the US. I'll be giving her both my Nigerian bank account statements and my US Bank account statements with affidavit of support duly notarized here in the US.

In my affidavit of support, is it required of me to explain source of funds with documentations OR proof of funds only since I'm not the one applying for visa?

She will be using 5 days only..

A response will be highly appreciated

Hello all. I have pressing questions please. I applied for a Visa renewal and said my son would be travelling with me in my application. Now I've changed my mind about it and booked my appointment alone. Would this affect anything?
I also mentioned that we were going to spend the yuletide there but I couldn't get any close date for submission . Is this a problem as well?

Good morning gurus in the house.....I have submitted all the documents yesterday including a hotel booking confirmation from booking.com..The booking was done without credit card and with no Prepayment and Free cancellation... I planned traveling on Feb 29th and my intention is to cancel the hotel after arriving the city of London but I saw on the booking confirmation where they said..cancel on or before Feb 15th.what would be the implications if I didn't cancel on Feb 15th as they said ..Also would cancelling before Feb 15th and getting another hotel booking result to an issue at POE.

Those were the Koko documents. You may need to take it along with other already loaded documents for opt for assisted service and be ready to pay 10k for each applicant.....Explain to them at the presubmission desk and you would need to go with an active ATM card of an account that is funded.

U can’t add it. Documentation sent to them now is only through online upload. I don’t think TLS has access to upload any other documents as long as u have clicked submit. U have submitted online already. How will they upload it to ur profile? Remember the message they wrote that never click submit if you haven’t finished uploading as u cant go back something something.... The documents are now transferred to the ECO via electronic transfer ...

She has a pension. She has account. U can do all u have stated but remember that her financial representation will still be assessed irrespective of what she gets from u.. so try and make a good case for her and explain all her incomes with accompanying evidence.
