James Harden though. Monster back to back performance.

Where is that chap chic2pimp that was hyping Ben Simmons and his Triple Single self. I don't know how anyone will watch Luka DONCIC play night in night out and type MVP anything beside Ben Simmons name.

If not for his above average defense he's just a tall MCW. I mean he's shooting below 60% from free throw range. Ewwww

Luka Doncic for MVP. It's like watching Kevin De Bruyne on the court. This kid is like 2 seconds ahead of everyone else. It's unreal

Bruh I said It's all in His Head. Once He gets it all figured out, you'll see the beast in Him unleashed. I reckon either Him or Embiid has to be traded first as I firmly believe He has to have a team built around Him to enable Him to flourish.

Also I said, He had "MVP Potential" coming into the League and that Still stands. Most overwhelming Numero Uno NBA draft picks have it. King James is probably the odd one out here. His was a case of "MVP in Waiting" not "Potential MVP".
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 11:32am On Dec 14, 2019
Harden is a different kind of Breed. He is making 50+points(without barely any free throws btw)games look so normal it's getting ridiculous. When my MVP scores 50 for the Bucks, I'm in awe but not with Harden. This Animal sure is Special.

Oh btw having Faced Giannis, King James,AD and Harden in recent weeks, Jonathan Isaac when asked who was the hardest to Guard of the Lot was emphatically Chose Harden. That is saying a lot.

Its no secret harden is the hardest player to guard in the NBA. Besides his all round skills which you can't deny you can't breathe on him without getting a foul called on you.

Foul baiting however much we dislike it is a Skill on it's own. Unstoppable force really.

Lool I trust you to show up when he plays well against one of the worst teams in the league. A team that's 6-20.

You were nowhere to be found the day before when he dropped a Triple Single.

There's a very long queue of players ahead of him. He's not even the best player on his team so that says it all

What was the disrespect? That he failed to lead New Orleans? Did we lie?

That Giannis is comparable to him. Is that disrespect?

Because he has the luxury of playing with LeNomad we no go hear word?

Failed to lead New Orleans to where? With what? Abeg make una just stop! How many of the current superstar is playing alone with the expectation of making team progress in the dreaded western conference? Show me one western conference playoff contender that has only one star player and have made consecutive playoff appearances..What was he supposed to do? You yourself in one of your recent post agreed there was absolutely nothing he could have done with that squad! We freaking had people bringing ridiculous arguments about his stats when he plays with J. Holiday and was done!
I don’t think anyone has any problem with the Giannis comparison and that is because it is a good and fair one. We had issues with the Siakam thing and from what we have seen this season, AD would have to stop playing before Siakam catches up with him and it is no diss on Siakam.
Right now he clearly the most important Laker on the court because it is almost impossible to take him out and if that is not leadership I don’t know what is.

See bros, just forget AD matter. We clearly have divided opinions on the subject. You can present your facts about your opinions on the subject and we can present ours. This argument can only be settled if and when AD gets another opportunity to lead a team and he takes it. But at least we all agree that AD is tremendously talented.

He won one playoff series in 7 years. That's not good enough for a transcendent talent. Stop making excuses. We saw Dirk lead the Mavs to Finals and multiple series wins with Josh Howard as his second best player

He was supposed to make more than 2 playoff appearances in 7 years. Even the much maligned Harden is doing it with Houston and he didn't let his team crumble when his top 2 options get hurt

I did not agree there was absolutely nothing he could do with the squad? Where are you getting that from? I said perhaps it was not entirely his fault not that he could not do anything with the squad. They are clearly underperforming like they did even with AD

Nobody said Siakam is at AD's level. We said he can get there. It's not unattainable

One does not have the luxury of playing with LeNomad either but still has his team 8 games over .500

I'm sure steady and Ersan will not agree with you that AD is the most important Laker on the court. The LeNomad hive won't either.

Haha! J. Howard his 2nd best player you said? Baba abeg stop the exaggeration!!!Dirk through those periods had J. Kidd, defense Marshall S. Marion, J. Terry, C. Butler, T. Chandler, not forgetting Stackhouse and a young G. Green . These cats were legit, in their prime and had the stability of a great coach in R. Carlisle.. So what are we talking about here?

Harden player one season where I can say he was by himself, after that he got D. Howard as a 1-2 punch for the Rockets, T. Ariza, JT, Sweet Lou, E. Gordon, CP3.. Oh, did we forget the Rockets were a game away from the next round when CP3 went down and the Rockets choked the lead and lost to the Warriors?

AD is not a passenger on this Lakers team, he is in conversations for different individual awards because he is earning it on the court! This is perhaps the first time he has a 1-2 punch and he is not slacking.. This is not a case of L. Doncic/ Porz where one star is literally carrying the team on his back..

23 and 3. Get it?

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:14am On Dec 15, 2019
The bucks have to beat the cavs and the mavs and the lakers have to beat the hawks and the pacers and we have ourselves two teams with the joint best record in the league, three of the best players in the league, going to battle for the best team in the league. That game is going to be even more epic than the lakers clippers christmas day pantomime. I hope the bucks don't blow it. I can't bloody wait!

Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:22am On Dec 15, 2019
For those wondering why we don't respect Harden's regular season numbers

Harden in regular season: 23 games with 50+ points

Harden in playoffs: 0 games with 50+ points

I think it is going to be a good game irrespective of what both teams do before the matchup.

Of course. But both teams being on a win streak and with identical records just adds to the narrative. Makes it that much more exciting.

I would like to congratulate the Golden State Warriors for reclaiming their place as the undisputed worst team in the NBA. They just excel at everything they do whether is winning championships or tanking.

Strive for greatness.

Josh Howard was literally the only guy that made All-star in Dirk's first run to the Finals.

What prime?? Is this a joke?? Shawn Marion 33, Terry 34, Kidd was 37 bruh, Stackhouse was 32 back in 06, Butler missed their title winning season. Wait did you just mention Gerald Green? Did he even play?? Lmaooooooo you're name dropping at this point. Tyson Chandler was a cast-off from New Orleans that failed his medical don't try to paint him like he was some star. In isolation these were all role players

AD had Holiday, Tyreke Evans, Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon. All young and were good enough to be led to playoff contention by a transcendent talent

Monty Williams was their coach and he's hardly a scrub

Roland17:

Na wa. The same Eric Gordon you didn't rate as a teammate of AD you're now rating him as a Rocket. Lol smh

Did you call Howard 1-2 punch? Lmaoooo smh. Harden went an entire regular season averaging 29 pts, Howard averaged 13. The first season almost double his average. It's not one two punch when the other person is scoring twice your average. You even mentioned Lou Williams that spent only one year with the Rockets. Adim weak oh

Harden maximized the limited talent he had, AD underperformed with his. Nothing wrong in admitting this

Yes his 1-2 punch just happened to be another top 5 player and some would argue still the best player in the league. How many elite players will be teammates with LeNomad and slack? The likes of Giannis, Kawhi did not need LeNomad before running things
