When has AD not gotten respect though. Going into the season when ESPN made their list he was #5 if I recall correctly. And I also recall Stephen A picking the Lakers to win it all largely because of AD and the matchup problems he would pose to the Clippers.

I think the consensus was he kinda underperformed with the Pelicans, their performance thus far this season shows it might not entirely have been AD's fault. Whether it's the coaching or something there is a problem there

What hot takes? You can be super skilled and still have a beta mindset. People call KD a beta after all doesn't mean they are not elite ballers. I will still question ADs mentality till he proves me wrong but that doesn't mean I don't recognize what he is capable of
