[s][/s] WHAT IS WRONG WITH ESTABLISHING A CAR ASSEMBLY PLANT IN THE NORTH?
my brother, why are you replying those CHILDREN of HATE. They are born to hate northerners and yorubas but the funny thing is that majority of them are leaving in the north and south west.
Instead of showing gratitude to people that accommodate them, they turn around to hate them.

There's no need arguing with his misguided followers. He is their alpha & omega. A certain Governor once said even if Buhari asked him to take a plunge into hell, he would gladly do so.

I knew they would come.

Stallion motors do not own Hyundai and acted as a subsidiary thus making the end product more expensive. Jonathan caused Stallion to fold up and not Buhari.

Now Buhari has attracted the main Hyundai and not a subsidiary and this would make the end product cheaper for everyone as no middle man would be involved

Buhari apparently is an investor attraction magnet and has attracted the big dog now and not the small fries your Jonathan attracted.

That to me is childish.

VP Osinbajo: Nigeria far behind in poverty eradication
By Agencies - December 16, 2019
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said on Monday the country is far behind in the race to eradicate poverty. grin
He stated this at the second Abiola Ajimobi roundtable programme to mark the 70th birthday of the former governor of Oyo State.
The programme was attended by many governors, former governors, prominent traditional rulers and several other businessmen and women across the country.
While speaking on the topic: “Managing the Dynamics of Nigeria’s Advancement: The Socio-Economic options,” Osinbajo said “there are two issues and I’m glad that by the response of discussants, the two issues stood out. One is the environment for local and foreign investments and second is eradicating poverty.”
“It’s very obvious that we are behind the race in eradicating poverty. The reason being that before now, there were no systematic and focused approach to eradicating poverty in our country. This is why from 2014-2015, the APC decided to write social investment into our manifestos.
“So, the social investment we are talking about is not by accident. It’s a comprehensive programme to tackle poverty. It’s a detailed programme and the first of its kind anywhere in Africa. The programme is very seriously scrutinized by the World Bank and as a matter of fact, the World Bank is a collaborator.”
“Till date, that school feeding programme accounts for feeding of over 9.9 million pupils in 33 states and we are going to 36 states. 540,000 people are being paid monthly. Of course, it’s not a perfect programme but it’s the first pragmatic approach to tackling poverty”.
“That’s what countries with a large population of the poor did and today it has taken a large number out of poverty. It’s very important to bear in mind that we are at the first stage of the programme and we will do a lot more.”

Ghanaians are mostly too poor to afford brand new cars. Nigerians buy brand new cars more than those who even buy used cars in Ghana.

"hit rock bottom during buhari's government", meaning it was heading for the bottom but only made it to the bottom during this government.

anywhere so far it's on Nigeria soil. you argued Toyota going to Ghana, now one is coming your way you are arguing it should go through the mouth, anus, nostrils or the ear.
why not any of the passage for as much as it is entering into you body. wait till someone else feast on it then your economy is left to nothing.

Who told you? Stop writing crap! The fact that Nigeria’s population is 200 million doesn’t necessarily translate into a bigger market. Don’t forget 120 million Nigerians are considered very very poor. Every 6 minutes, a nigerian falls into the poverty trap. Market is not population. Market is about purchasing power.

Myde4naija:
little percentage of Nigerian that buy brand new cars are more than the entire Ghana population, there is no way we won't brag about the market.

We know you have no job now, millions lost their jobs and millions had become gainfully employed, you better go get a job or start a business instead of blaming Buhari for your misfortune.

That you change your moniker too often doesn't stop us from knowing you are the same jobless fellow.

Get your hands engaged impressed productive ventures than ass-licking Buhari.

yes it is and i am watching out for the wailers from the east (even though i am also igbo) who would come here to say he should focus on Innoson or how can Hyundai do that? Where is the electricity they would use for their manufacturing plant as if Innoson is not using the same electricity they claim is not available.

Wailers who are already peeping in on the thread, over to you cheesy cheesy cheesy

they re just one of Nigeria's minor problems so they would always be tamed and dealt with whenever the need arise.

Stallion motors already built a Hyundai Assembly plant during Jonathan's govt but it seems Buharis bad governance has killed it .. Hyundai is middle class automaker who depends on a bouyant middle class for them to succeed but unfortunately Buhari is a middle class killler ..Under Jonathan's govt I bought many Hyundai's from stallion autos VI and the one that used to be on Bank Anthony way ( both show rooms are closed now ) because business for middle class Business man like myself was booming then and the cars were very affordable but today the story is different

You bought MANY hyundai during Jonathan regime. I don't know we have multi millionaire on Nairaland!
