Many Nigerian FMCG companies are going to report lower revenue. The border closure is never in their favour.

Core investors want to delist the company and pay shareholders 70k per share.

It is a win for the core investors.

Is it 70k now? It was 53k before.
Pls clarify sir.
Also did you have any information on Continsure payment date ?

AG Leventis has 2.65 billion outstanding shares, @ 70k per share that means the conglomerate is valued at less than N2 billion.

The real estate portfolio of the company all over the country is far more than N2 billion, I see the core investors embarking on asset stripping and then try to reposition the company

One of the shareholders' activists informed me that it was reviewed to 70k. I think that is the reason for the renewed interest in the stock

At 53k the whole business will be valued at about N1.5 billion which is meagre.

Not yet made public then.
Sir, but you know they are going to re-register/re-list it with another name, maybe that's why they dont want to pay more than 53k. Just saying.

My own question is: When is the unbundling going to take place?

Still uncertain. But what you should be watching out for first is the recapitalization of UPDC which will likely precede the un-bundling if one judges from how they presented the different steps to the restructure in their release to the NSE. If this is the case then don't expect any un-bundling till maybe late Q2 of 2020 after all the steps to the rights issue have been completed.

Me thinks they are delaying because they may have one or two additional subsidiaries they want to get rid of and/or maybe eyeing acqusitions as well.
