Are you in the hair industry? Do you have client diversity?
Over here , a lot of white women wear extensions and wigs .its nothing at all
It’s not a race thing it’s just beauty enhancement.

And so what ? I'm not saying they don't wear fake hair. They just don't wear it like black women. Deal with it.

Please use this yuletide season to paddle your canoe and keep your unsolicited opinions to yourself. Thank you in advance.
Well, as long as the post and its unsolicited opinions has been viewed by over 50,000 people and counting, a few strong-headed persons are of zero importance. Lie down and stay down, you'll find some peace soon.

@emboldened makes you an illiterate, education isn't the only thing that makes one an illiterate, for you to think a certain feature can't be found in a certain race, makes you a high end illiterate.

Show me the blk person with thin lips and straight noses if you aren't one yourself

True , you’re right .

For some reason I feel some people prefer to ram black people into a specific box .
As a black woman from a multi cultural family I understand what diversity means , I don’t have to travel far to see different shades, hair types and certain features
I know quite a lot of black people with natural blond 4s and 3s with sun burnt blond hair .
I’m a type 3 and I have exact same color as the below pictures .
No we are not biracial or multiracial,I’m most likely more black african than a lot of people from there .

Are you still making this error too?? Those australoids you posted are genetically closer to asians than Africans. They are not black. You have no point.

Secondly, you claim to be caribbean. How are you more african than those from Africa when your ppl are confirmed to have admixture? undecided

You can thank your 3c hair texture for that. You are mixed, stop lying.

You are obviously a waste of time to continue a conversation with. Madam Amebo eke is my hobby. Pokenoser. If she is not interfering in her neighbours' lives, it is other people's children she is facing.

Hopefully your life will become more interesting in 2020 so you don't have to pokenose everywhere like a jobless human being.

Who are the "WE"? If where you come from or people around you preach about discrimination, that's their business, but generalising it as we in Nigeria is stupidity to say the least, in your mind, whites or other nationalities don't discriminate too? Is it all mothers here that bleach and make up their daughters? Whites don't do that? You reek of inferiority complex, only Nigerians pull kids hair? Does pulling hair make them cry for the rest of their life? Take your ridiculous, assumed wokeness away from here.

White ppl do it too! Classic response

I understood where she was coming from because we have a problem with not being proud of our hair in its natural state compared to other races but I was just telling her not to generalize it to everybody, especially people plaiting their kids hair who are just trying to make the style look neat.

Instead of acknowledging that people have their reasons for using attachment that are not necessarily because of "self-hate" she ignored it and began to fixate on the word "blond" smh

Everybody does something to enhance their beauty...sometimes due to self-hate and sometimes not! So you shouldn't go about policing and attacking people without even considering the context of their behaviour.

This is why she ended up being racist instead of enlightened. Not all black people do the same thing for the same reasons. To assume so is racism!

Thank you! And no I'm perfectly ok with braids they just shouldn't be tight. That's all.

Aww, her feelings are hurt. Sorry sweetheart, do you want some ice cream? I see you're no older than 10. Vanilla would be a really calming flavor. It helps little girls grow up.

I think you have over flogged this issue. Allow them fry,pem and traumatise their kids scalp if they deem it fit.
The new trend is bleaching kids cream. In saner countries all this are illegal. After we wonder why kids grow up with the need to impress others, especially males.

Let them obstruct them from exploring childhood stress-free( dancing in the rain, moulding sand castles on beach and flying kites) .

With the increasing rate of paedophilia all mothers can do is make daughters an exhibition by applying makeup, hair extensions et al on them to attract the wrong crowd.

In decades to come i foresee parents subjecting kids to liposuction, and all other plastic surgeries. ..

Texture is not just how it feels like. Texture also refers to the thickness or kinks of the hair.

Stop this your chanting of "moisture." And stop peddling your high-end ignorance to the world! Haba!! shocked

If a person has highly kinky or knotted hair, moisture will not prevent the person from feeling pain, while combing the hair.

Such moisture even gets the hair more knotted and tangled, and then pulling a comb through the hair, gets more painful.

Everyone's hair is NOT the same! How long will it take for you to understand that simple bit?

What's she doing that you aren't?

3) I really don’t think you understand the meaning of “multi cultural families !
4)Dear person , Go on YouTube and watch ancestral DNA test results then we can discuss .

5) Type 3 hair is not synonymous to being biracial/multi racial ,there are a lot of people with 90-96%west/central/southern African ancestry with type 3 hair please don’t be a knob head watch YouTube !

Mix with what ? Rice ,beans and plantain?

Soon you’ll say black people with NC 40 up on till NC 15 or so aren’t Black enough lol grin

Did I say it's a race? You don't say?

Caribbeans are confirmed to have admixture. You can place your phenotype on that.

Being mixed and having "soft" hair was a thing Caribbeans used to show superiority over Africans and even some African Americans and here you are denying your admixture vehemently just to make a point ? This is new.

Looking at someone hair texture was a way jamaicans/Caribbeans used to confirm if someone was Caribbean or not and here you are acting like you don't know what I talking about?

And I have told you to ask her directly. How many times must I repeat myself? Hair textures are different!! It varies from one individual to the other.

Must I repeat this in 3 different languages, so that it gets through to you? undecided

If I do all what she says there, my hair would get all tangled and knotted. Then combing it, would be a nightmare!

Please take yourself out of my mentions. I do NOT need a tutorial from you, on how to handle my hair. Irú elénìní wo, l'elèyi? shocked

The bold , super new to me . Never heard it before ever !
Well not everyone’s racially mixed in the Caribbean!
There are People with 4s in the Caribbean though .
I’ve seen some biracial kids with type 4 hair . Hair type is quite a complex situation , it’s not a straight forward thingy .

I take it as you’re trying to attack my ethnicity base off of the fact that you have nothing to hold on to. Oh well have fun

You guys are mixed, it's just varying degrees.

Why do haitians look the closest to black Africans? Cos they have the least admixture.

I'm simply saying thank your mixture for your phenotype

Haba!! You try....you even have a lot of patience to be replying her silly comments, sef.

I have seen some Carribbean people that are far darker than many Nigerians, and have super kinky hair, with more whorls in them. Honestly....am tired of explaining the basic truth, to someone who refuses to get it!
