Quick Tips When outbounding, please do well to always check the 'about' page of your potential end users' websites. Oftentimes than not, they talk about the President/CEO of the company and even put his direct email address there. Fellow domainers, this is the email address you should hold on to very tight. It is how I landed this sale. Forget those Contact forms and info@domainname.com (I'm not saying they don't work). Always Check about page!! Sometimes, they won't include the President's details but his full name will be there, Google him like your life depends on it, chances are you'll get to him on Facebook. My two cents.

Dear QueenRebecca, please don't give up at all. No one has the sole key to domaining success. No one at all! It is your resilience that will make you smile in the end. The first 3 names I registered in my newbie days expired many months ago. In fact, I have even abandoned everything domaining and don't even visit this thread anymore until boredom made me start reading my past emails and I started seeing promotional emails from Namesilo (My registrar then), that was when I checked one of my names that expired and alas, it is now a fully developed site! But you people did not coman buy when I still owned it o, it is well.

I came back to this thread some weeks ago and got some new domain names. But I'm not relenting any longer. I'm fully back and better! Current portfolio is 30 and we are steadily increasing.

Don't go there. .ca domain names have restrictions. You must be residing in Canada before owning one.
If you go ahead and register as a non Canadian, there is a high likelihood they (.ca regulators) will come for you...

I don't consider myself qualified to offer a piece of advice on this. You have probably made more sales than I, even though I might have started this earlier.

However, I'd like to chip in that the setting for at least two other TLDs to be registered isn't compulsory. It might only make finding the right end-user easier for you, but it could deprive you of other opportunities.

One of the sales Iykepromotions reported several months ago was for a domain name whose other extensions were all available. I think he told me that some of his other sales were like that.

I think this all goes back to the 'grace' factor I have been hammering on all along. Again, I'd say the most-thorough research isn't enough.

Also, I think a 'keyword' filter may be somewhat limiting. Simply tick the option for geo names or you set the name of a specific city. My two cents.
