I called UKVI they said they have already made decision since, they delay is coming from TLScontact.

Transferring from DMC to VAC has been the issue

Please include pictures too ,Pictures of you and the children,My baby was denied and later granted when pictures where attached

Yes you do. You also need to attach scanned copy of your passport and visa page.

Other docs you need are...their birth cert. Letter from their school....marriage cert (if you are married)....letter from hubby giving you permission to travel with the kids (Yes...I know. You don't need his permission but it's to show he is aware of the trip) etc.

There are other docs. But maybe other people will shed light on this too.

If you are travelling with them...then you need to state that they are applying so they can travel with you.

I suggest you call UKVI to confirm, cause TLS is slow.

You can reapply immediately if you can tackle reasons for denial or if you feel you weren't given a fair judgement

Good day @Justwise & all the gurus helping people on this thread, please I have a question o.
I did biometrics on the 5th of Dec, application transferred to DMC same day & application receipt acknowledgement on the 11th Dec.
I got a call from the home office in London on the 19th from a UK phone number, the guy said he tried calling my HR office to confirm my work documents which I submitted but the line ain’t going through & requested that I give him alternate numbers to call which I gave him & also told him to keep trying the number in my application form & that the number is correct, he asked me to call it out & I did. I also told him that my company has its head office in London & that he can also double check the authenticity of my docs from them. He told me that’s a great idea. Please is this a good or bad sign? I have never read on this thread that Visa Officers call applicants for such.

Dont worry you are on track. They dont usually stick to the 5 days they say for priority. Its sometimes takes up to 15 working days. Did mine (priority) on 12th and I am still waiting.

They do call on rare occasion . A female colleague of mine was called also & few questions were asked from her concerning her husband.
On whether it is a good or bad sign no one can tell but definitely the ECO is doing his/her job.
Pray for good outcome

It's not always advisable to book a paid flight before visa decision. Flight can be booked and later cancelled just to have an idea of the flight fare in support of one's application. Some people don't even include flight reservation in their application.

Yeah, but Google bought the flight tickets, and the program starts on the 4th of January, that's why I did the priority visa

Well they do it to gullible people.. especially when u dont know and/or obviously u are tired from the trip and just need to get home
Yes, sometimes when u remove the tags, u can simply say its your things u were using in the uk when u travelled. This is just to guise that the items are not brand new..
I know someone who got a tv sometime...immediately he landed and had collected his luggage... these vampires jumped out after scanning for who they will chop from that night. They usually stay after u have collected your bags.. the exit area..
They quoted figures ... say he will pay this and that.. that he imported tv... the guy was simply trying to explain.. they kept moving him from one oga to the other and most definitely they were determined to collect money from him.. a nice cleaner saw all that was happening and obviously knew the boy was a learner... he quickly advised him to say how can he pay for bringing his tv home that he has been using in that country ... that he can’t pay any ‘illegal tax’... that’s how they all shut up and let him go. The money-grabbing elements that call themselves CUSTOMS/FAAN officials are the ones that sometimes do this at the airport.
Mind u, it’s wrong. They dont stop everyone. They simply watch out for those they will use as night meal... and feed on your naivety... As per learner/novice/jjc!
Same way they task people traveling out for the 1st time and scare them that they will miss their flights... people end up parting with hundreds of dollars.... sad

Hello people,

I have a brother whose Visa was cancelled at the point of entry due to lack of POF.

Does this result to an automatic ban?

Is he required to appeal the decision at the British consulate.

Thank you
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 9:22pm On Dec 28, 2019
When someone is refused entry at the border there is always a text of the refusal notice because it contains speed codes and formulae which are helpful in understanding what caused the refusal and what may or may not apply to the person...
So check if this applies to him as we are not privy to his visa cancellation letter... https://www.gov.uk/ask-for-a-visa-administrative-review/if-your-visa-was-cancelled-at-the-border
what is POF? proof of funds?
