then I saw all that God has done. No one can comprehend what goes on under the sun. Despite all their efforts to search it out, no one can discover its meaning. Even if the wise claim they know, they cannot really comprehend it.( Ecclesiastes 8:17) The bible said that not me.

1.Jesus is the only way to God, John 14:6
This invariably means those who don't believe in Jesus have no business in heaven.
Christians worldwide have an estimated population of 2.4billion people
Islam records an estimate of 1.9 billion adherents, Hindu has an estimated 1.1bn adherents. The remaining world's population have their own beliefs which includes atheism.
If Jesus is the only way to God, what happens to those who don't believe in him? Hell? Well, the Bible suggests so.

2. There are a lot of complications and contradictory remarks in the Bible- a verse says don't drink, another says "Drink for your stomach sake", or "Do not drink wherein excess."
Malachi 3:10 a famous Bible verse on tithing speaks about bringing your tithe to the storehouse (church, maybe)
Deuteronomy 14:22-26 says otherwise, it says "you should drink and be merry with your tithe". I'm seriously beginning to doubt the credibility of the Bible. Maybe the translators' fault or God told writers different stories on the same issue. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John's account of Jesus and see real contradictions.

3. Does God answer prayers? Well, I'm not really sure about that. Someone might be suffering from malaria, the person takes drugs and still prays, the drugs work, but the person thanks God. Or a successful surgical operation, instead of thanking the doctor, they thank God. Some illnesses that would have been treated led to deaths because a certain congregation who were supposed to take the ill persons to the hospital, circled around praying. Faith without work isn't it still dead?
I remember when I had stomach ulcer, it was really terrible, I prayed and made several promises to God that if He took away the ulcer, I'd drink no more alcohol and will be more devout in worshipping Him. That didn't solve anything though, I stopped drinking and took to taking my drugs more seriously. Weeks later, I was well. I returned to drinking and after a few months, the ulcer resurfaced. That was when I realized I really needed to quit drinking. Prayers wouldn't have solved that issue.
I spent 80% of 2019 at home because of my misgivings about God's existence.
I really wish I could be convinced about God's existence because I'm not even happy to be away from Church because of the views of friends and family.

4. Children of God, or so called children of God tend to suffer more tribulations, hard times and desperate moments, a lot of them scream "Vanity upon Vanity" when secular people live in luxury or spend extravagantly. God tends to turn his back on those who worship Him especially when they need Him most.
The 1933 Holocaust and mass murder of Jews to the tone of 6m was a clear indication that God turns His eyes against His people
Repulsive comments are highly welcome

Glad you asked these questions. It shows you are getting closer to know God more. The truth is anyone questioning there is no God has not EXPERIENCED HIS POWER IN THEIR LIFE. Unfortunately they follow people, church and societies to really understand who God is. God can be understood only through His word which is the bible. You also need the HOLY SPIRIT to interpret the bible for you.

I have seen God work in my life and that is why several religions like Erkanka, Yeshua, Etc have come to convince me but I stayed strong because everything God has done for me has been miraculous.

1. I have worked in top companies without a BSC.
2. I have traveled outside the country without money
3. My canceled visa was approved 3 days after
4. I have lived without money and all my bills were sorted

Read these scriptures carefully based on your questions. Pray before reading and remove every teaching you have heard before

1. Jesus is the only way to God -

ANSWER
Read Book Of Romans Carefully

2. There are a lot of complications and contradictory remarks in the Bible- a verse says don't drink, another says "Drink for your stomach sake", or "Do not drink wherein excess." -

ANSWER
It's not contradictory. I was arguing before that one is allowed to drink and not get drunk like stated in the bible until God opened my eyes to the life of John the baptist. Luke 1:15:- for he will be great in the eyes of the Lord. He must never touch wine or other alcoholic drinks. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even before his birth.

If you read closely you will see only one spirit is allowed to stay in your body. Alcoholic drink has a spirit. Paul drank alcohol to relieve the pain in his stomach. HE DIDN'T DRINK TO STUPOR. Ephesians 5:18 says Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.

3. For Matthew, Mark, Luke and John's account of Jesus it's simple. I took saw different accounts but these guys were different people giving their own account in their own perspective of who Jesus was to each of them individually. They saw it in their own light.

4. For the tithe, there are different types of tithe. The one in Deuteronomy is the one given to the levite. I too questioned tithe. Plugged my ears from all teaches and did a research. I decided to settle with what Jesus said about tithe in Luke 11:42. He says “What sorrow awaits you Pharisees! For you are careful to TITHE even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore justice and the love of God. You should TITHE, YES, but DO NOT NEGLECT the more important things.

5. Does God answer prayers? Oh yes He Does. Alot of people have died because they took drugs. So many people have died from surgery even from the best doctors with over 90% success rate. Do your research. That the drugs/surgery worked in your body is God that made it happen.

Ulcer is simply a lack of food. Eat well and without taking drugs you will be fine. Alcohol will quicken the acid to react with the ulcer that is why. Hope you know alot of people have died from ulcer even malaria. What makes you different? God is the difference.

6. Children of God suffer for lack of the word of God. The bible said my people perish for lack of knowledge. Sin and Knowledge will kill you. Sin is also a lack of knowledge.

The secular people make money because they applied some principles. Bill gates is rich cos he applied financial principles. Produce a product that solves problems and sell it to millions. Money answers to value given. simple!

Christians are lazy and broke because they don't apply the knowledge they know. They pray and expect God to come down and do the part they are supposed to do.

Hope this helps.

What is holding you from not being an Atheist in the First Place?

Without Faith, It is impossible to Please God, He that cometh to Him must beleive that He is and He is the rewarder of those that Diligently seek Him. This verse of scripture Helped me (My seemingly weak Faith at that time).

It is either you are loosing an already weak Faith, Or you have no Faith in the First Place, In as much as you are looking for Facts alone(Knowledge without Wisdom and Proper understanding with the Fact) in other to make you beleive or not, then you are already Gone.

I'll Pray for you

Well I don't have much time to waste on this, but I will encourage the confused writer to reread those quoted verses in an indept state of mind. The bible or God word is not confusing in anyway. Even other religions in their various scriptures admits that Jesus Christ is the way and they believes in him,but according to their own self fashioned way which the ignorants of their tenant of faith will not understand.

Hello,

Please answer this question for me.

People existed over 5,000 years before Jesus came to earth. If he is the only way, what was the fate of those people who never even got to know him?

Hello to you too.

Before the Lord Jesus came in the flesh, God had already taught the human race of His Coming through, first, the protoevangelium or first gospel in the Garden of Eden when He told Adam and Eve of the Coming Savior and demonstrated what that Savior would do with the first animal sacrifice from which He gave them coats of skin to cover their unclothedness (Genesis 3:15,21), and second, the Law of Moses that he gave to Israel for the whole world.

Adam and Eve passed the Good News down to their descendants. That was why Abel carried out a sacrifice of blood, showing faith in the Coming Messiah, and was declared righteous as a result, and why Cain carried out a sacrifice too although he dared to pretend that his sin did not demand forfeiture of life, and he was rejected for daring to presume that he did not deserve to die for his sin. His lack of Faith in the coming Messiah condemned him.

Sacrifices of the sort that the Lord carried out in the Garden for Adam and Eve and of the sort that Abel did went on throughout history until the Lord institutionalized it and codified it in the Law of Moses to teach a fuller meaning of it to Israel and through Israel to the world.

As long as anyone demonstrated faith in the Coming Savior through offering a blood sacrifice for their sin, using animals as taught by the Lord, they were saved by that faith.

When the Lord Jesus came, He fulfilled what those sacrifices were pointing to: a full payment for our sins against God. No animal sacrifice ever saved anyone. Only the Spiritual Death of a Perfect Man Who could suffer the full penalty for all sins and rebellions of every member of the human race without turning bitter and falling into sin himself could save us all. The only Person who could actually pay such a hefty price without getting bitter about it was God Himself. That was why the Lord Jesus had to become a normal Human Being absent a sin nature like the rest of us have, hence the Virgin Birth.

As I said, it was faith in Him, both that He would come later in history to die for our sins and that He had actually come and died for our sins when He did, that saves, not merely the killing of some animal. The animal sacrifice was only a demonstration of that faith before the Lord came. Now that He has come and died for us, animal sacrifices are now not only unnecessary but also blasphemous. Only faith that He has come and died for us saves us today.

So, those who believed in the Coming Messiah or Savior were saved by that belief.

Finally, no human being existed five thousand years before the Lord Jesus came. Adam was created about 4000 years before the Lord Jesus came.

Religion is not about heaven and hell nor God and Satan.

The stories in religious books are there to help teachers teach children how to survive peacefully and harmoniously with others.

Religion was all about survival. Sadly not anymore.

The modern world believes Abrahamic religions have outlived their usefulness because they've killed God.

There's no longer anything to fear, so many people no longer have reasons to endure the pain of this world. No hope of eternal life. Surprisingly, Slave morality is on a rapid rise in disguise.

Hope has become a fraud.

Empathy is only employed when it's convenient.

The things our fathers were ashamed of are what we celebrate today.

Religious leaders live out their grandiose fantasy at the expense of their sheeple because they've replaced God.

Is atheism the answer? From my experience, I don't think so.

Most atheists in religious countries are usually apathetic and in some cases bitter. This doesn't help anybody, not even the atheists themselves.

The easiest way to save Africans from modern religious manipulators (if you care) is to become very religious and inspire the sheeple in bondage to be more educated and see for themselves that God is dead and it's time to move on.

How do you do this? Become a Sunday school teacher, preacher etc. Intentionally expose your audience to thought-provoking books and materials that helped you come to terms with reality. While at it, always emphasize on empathy and how our collective survival and advancement depends on it.

In the end, liberating Education is what we need. Not apathy, elitism, bitterness, etc that comes with being an atheist in this part of the world.

PS- Good/bad fortune has nothing to do with God. It has everything to do with you and the people you surround yourself with.

God is not dead. He is alive. I pray that God will reveal himself unto you.

@ englishmart

Religions are Cosmic Programs designed for specific Levels of Consciousness.

There are different Levels of Consciousness on the Planes of Earth.

So each Soul graduates from one Religion to a higher Religion as his/her consciousness evolves from lower level of consciousness to a higher level of consciousness. There is no possibility of falling downwards, which is the chief reason when you leave Christianity based on intelligent decisions, no lower religions will appeal to you. You end up saying 'There is no God' instead of saying 'I am heading to Islam', but you might say, I will study Islam and others while being skeptic.

When you start seeing faults in a certain religion, and make a decision to vacate that religion, to another or to none, it means your level of consciousness has been elevated by virtue of your hard-work on researches, attention to details and experiences.

What i know deep inside me is that the Maker is somewhere, maybe even in this thread, watching us in laughter and catching fun. I believe in a maker or makers as the case maybe. (Gen.1:26) But i also believe that the concept of 'God' as defined by religion is entirely a product of man's fantasy. Take a virtual trip into space and see the wonders of this universe how planet earth is a mere speckle of dust, then you will know your worship is nothing for the master Engineer.

You’re right. Some of us have already encountered the enlightenment. I’m currently writing a book on the subject of religion being a scam using the example of the true to life story of a religious leader. Sadly whilst Europeans have woken up to this reality, Africans in particular are continuously blindfolded. Imagine the Church is alive in Europe thanks to African migrants, in the main.

Really, church is alive in Europe because of African immigrants...??
You Africans that have never left the shores of your countries just amaze me...
