Faith without work isn't it still dead?
I remember when I had stomach ulcer, it was really terrible, I prayed and made several promises to God that if He took away the ulcer, I'd drink no more alcohol and will be more devout in worshipping Him. That didn't solve anything though, I stopped drinking and took to taking my drugs more seriously. Weeks later, I was well. I returned to drinking and after a few months, the ulcer resurfaced. That was when I realized I really needed to quit drinking. Prayers wouldn't have solved that issue.
I spent 80% of 2019 at home because of my misgivings about God's existence.
I really wish I could be convinced about God's existence because I'm not even happy to be away from Church because of the views of friends and family.

Children of God, or so called children of God tend to suffer more tribulations, hard times and desperate moments, a lot of them scream "Vanity upon Vanity" when secular people live in luxury or spend extravagantly. God tends to turn his back on those who worship Him especially when they need Him most.

this is the reason Jesus Christ sent his disciples into ‘all the world.’ to win souls for him and save the unbelievers from eternal damnation. every day muslims, hindus, atheists are being converted to christianity which is the only true way. if they refuse to repent and die in their ways, then hell fire is their portion. there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
the ones i pity for are those who never heard the gospel. but according to YHWH ‘I will show mercy to whom i will show mercy.’ its all up to him in the end.

If these are the only reasons for your wanting to identify as an atheist, then I'm sorry, you never really understood the faith you were practicing.

There are answers to each of the questions you posed there and they form the very basic or foundational knowledge of the Christian faith. That you were not schooled in these things is as a result of the dearth of the teachings of the gospel by ministers, many of whom do not even understand what they are practicing.

What you need is the exact knowledge of your identity in the immortal reality, and this by the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I put it to you that you have not yet heard the gospel.

Nobody is blaming anybody for being born into a sinful state. Can you blame somebody for inheriting sickle cell disease? Or do you do your best to make sure you treat their illness?

Its funny that you should mention Iraq, which has an indigenous Christian minority and which has a Muslim population that at least partially understands the significance of Christ.

You dont have license to assume that Christianity cannot flourish anywhere, especially in Mesopotamia where so many biblical events took place in ancient times. Do you know that the areas of Assyria and Babylon are both located in Iraq? So who are you to say these cannot once again become relevant to God's kingdom

Promoting peace and unity between different faiths is exactly what a practising Christian does. It is not mutually exclusive from preaching the gospel and that comment shows that youre speaking from a biased perspective, like I said before.

Before the Lord Jesus came in the flesh, God had already taught the human race of His Coming through, first, the protoevangelium or first gospel in the Garden of Eden when He told Adam and Eve of the Coming Savior and demonstrated what that Savior would do with the first animal sacrifice from which He gave them coats of skin to cover their unclothedness (Genesis 3:15,21), and second, the Law of Moses that he gave to Israel for the whole world.

Adam and Eve passed the Good News down to their descendants. So, those who believed in the Coming Messiah or Savior were saved by that belief.

Finally, no human being existed five thousand years before the Lord Jesus came. Adam was created about 4000 years before the Lord Jesus came.
