Why not travel to school in Niger republic or Algeria. Why not go to any of the plenty govt universities. Why intentionally go to a Christian school and be forming stubborn that you won't follow their rules. |

Agboriotejoye:Are u suggesting that xtianity approved of a woman to leave her hair uncovered? If This is ur point, and ur statement proves so, then u are clearly advertising ur ignorance on the teaching of the Bible (both the old testament and the new), to wit: A) 1 Corinthians 11:5, says that “Every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonours her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.” B) Gen 24:65 "..and asked the servant, "Who is that man in the field coming to meet us?" "He is my master," the servant answered. So she took her veil and covered herself" C) Deut 22:5 "A woman must not wear men's clothing, nor a man wear women's clothing, for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this." D) Gen 38:14-15 "So she removed her widow's garments and covered herself with a veil, and wrapped herself, and sat in the gateway of Enaim, which is on the road to Timnah; for she saw that Shelah had grown up, and she had not been given to him as a wife. When Judah saw her, he thought she was a harlot, for she had covered her face." So clearly, it is not xtian for any woman not not cover her head in prayers or in public as far as the Bible goes. U can confirm these and other Biblical verses on veil. |

Aboki99:This is funny. A Muslim quoting the Bible to prove to a Christian that Christianity does not allow a woman to have her hair uncovered. Let me indulge you a little. A. That you quoted clearly states 'pray or prophesies' but you can't see dis cause you're not a Christian. A woman is expected to cover her head when she wants to pray or enter the church. Even dis is subject to interpretation of the liberty of the spirit as enshrined in Rom 8vs1. B,C& . You can ignore those. They're mosaic laws and the Bible explicitly states in 2Cor 3 that we do not operate under the old laws which could not save but under the new laws of Christ. That being said, you did not answer my question. I await an honest and direct response from you. |

They should make the rules clear to students so they can decide if they will abide by them or not. |

I was in that school some months ago for sightseeing.judging by the signposts littered around the sch environment, I knew instantly the sch would be a faith based one. Buh one shocking thing is that, the school is situated in a Muslim dominated area.for those that have been chanced to travel to EDe,they will quite agree with me. |

Kingsean:I will try to do this without insult, but first of all there is nothing like a christian university or a muslim university before NUC gives you licence for a university it has make sure u understand that all the universities in the land is open for all nigerians that can afford it regardless of religion or ethnicity. There is Al Qalam university at katsina which is (i will use your grammar) faith based and there are christian students but they are not even encouraged to go to mosque,i wonder what going to church service has to do with bachelors degree. |

BluntBoy:Bros, if you read the article you wouldn't be asking this question o. To the topic, if I were a Muslim, I wouldn't bother enrolling in a Christian institution which spell out strict rules as these and vise versa. He knew from the onset the rules were unfavourable to his religion and he wouldn't be able to abide by them yet he went ahead only to start complaining when he's already way in too deep. I don't like it when people play the victim card unnecessarily. |

Funny enough, in Islamic Universities like Cresent and Al-hikmah, christians are never marginalised. All these acts of hatred to bring Islam down but it will never happen. |

I know these are the kind of comments I would see on this post. It is well o. Imagine if it was a Christian that was suspended for not attending MSS. They would be writing another thing and be displaying their sheer hatred. Muslims be careful! And please, as they said, stop seeking for admission in Christian schools. |

I am REALLY happy with the majority of the comments I see. Not because I am a Christian, but because it is true. Imagine. Just look at what is happening in Nigeria. The North is dominated by Muslims, and for this reason, many of these states have zero tolerance for Christians. You can never school there. If they ever see you with Bible or mentioning Jesus, forget it, you're in trouble. But look around, all Christians welcome Muslims without punishing or afflicting them even though we have little clashes. I have noticed that even among the several persecution happening worldwide to Christians, have you ever seen a Christian(either individual, organization or government) retaliate? Have you ever seen Christians telling a Muslim that they will die if they refuse to say the Lord's prayer? Have you ever seen a Christian country with Laws against Islam? Have you ever seen them beheaded the way they behead our brothers, sisters and children? It's amazing. But any little opposition against them, the government will take it seriously. Let them oppose us, the government will keep quiet. There's a lot to type, but, I just pray that your eyes are opened by the Spirit to see the darkness in Islam. Amen. |
