Happy New Year 2020 to you all. Please I'm a newbie to qa-world. My question is that is it possible to transcribe via an android phone, or must it be with a laptop?

Whichever will suffice. But PC is ideal.

An SCC after checking the call said I should flag it as rep to rep.

I think if you had transcribed the call, you would have been rated, accordingly.

From your description, they are both customers. I've seen a differing opinion on slack regarding this issue before.

And the rater probably might have seen it from your perspective, too.

There is fund in it.

My advice? I know it's hard but forget the funds. PayPal is super important and we're using bypass method to be honest. If u call PayPal and they start to question you for info about the account for verification, it will cast that method more and more. Nigerians in Nigeria should not use any other paypal besides PayPal NG. Forget the PayPal and the funds you can make more, u will make more. Collect PayPal account for payment, so once QA pay you pim pim firstbank alert straight no africard stress, $5 fee wahala. No disturb yourself, this is 2020.

It's not a method, just simply an alternative to withdrawing.
MaziOkoro does the same and no complaints so far.
If you need PayPal email for receiving QA funds, WebshopNG will provide it. Once QA payment dey enter the PayPal, you will get it straight to your account but for N320/$ instead of PayPal's rate (N360/$+$5fee.) No $5 withdrawal fee or Africard needed for this. Works fine especially for funds of like $20-$200, you won't feel the difference.

After the test(if u pass), a link will be sent to ur email which u will now use to create ur password and login. After loggingin, u'll append ur name to their privacy statements and then u'll see the Do's and Dont's. When u are done reading, if u scroll down u'll see some objective questions(five I think). After answering the first set correctly, u'll see the FAQ and another set of objective questions. Once I've answered those questions correctly then u'll see a YouTube tutorial video for newbies. After that, u will be asked to provide ur PayPal email address b4 u'll have access to the queue where u can start working
This was helpful.., you guys are amazing.

My PayPal account is verified, yet they know I'm Nigerian. As long as you are using it for legitimate transactions and you provide your full and correct details as requested, you're good.
I have spoken with them on phone and communicated on Twitter over my limitation and they are well aware I'm a Nigerian user, I didn't pretend either.
Anyway, whatever works for you guys.

Did you read at least the first 10 pages? PayPal has nothing to do with bank when opening.

This doesn't stop you from working ..As long as you have PayPal.. Even if its not yet linked to the UBA card.

You misunderstood me. Pls read it closely again, you are not linking your naija MasterCard to PayPal. The method I wrote is for those who can't withdraw directly from PayPal only.

I think from his post wot he is trying to say is for those that are not okay with the $5 PayPal charge for withdrawalinstead of giving QA ur PayPal email, u'll give them the mail of an exchanger so when QA pays the exchanger will transfer the naira equivalent to u at an agreed upon rate instead of u transferring to an exchanger since the PayPal will still charge u per transfer.

I still would advice u get africard and accumulate ur earnings(not withdraw every week) so the $5 charge won't look like a big deal to u.

I'm not aware of any first bank PayPal where u withdraw without PayPal charge (I may be wrong tho).

thorrvik55:

Don't think twice about it. Withdraw to ur africard. If it's less than $20 then it's a bit cheaper to sell at a rate not less than 300naira per dollar.

Assuming u want to sell $20 to an exchanger at a rate of 300naira per dollar, u'll get $20*300= 6000naira (I did not consider the little charge paypal take for transfers here).

If u want to withdraw $20 to ur africard, u'll get $15*360= 5400naira(minus the $5 paypal charge).

If it's $30 u want to sell at rate of #300, it'll be $30*300=9000naira (not considering the small charge paypal collect for transfers).

If u are to withdraw $30 to ur africard it'll be 25*360=9000naira(minus the $5 paypal charge)

From the calculations above u'll see that if u are withdrawing up to $30 or more it's better to use the africard, but if it's around $10 to $20 it's cheaper to sell to exchangers.
