Depression is real, bro. And it respects no one. Rich people commit suicide. Poor people commit suicide. Successful people commit suicide. Unsuccessful people commit suicide. Graduates commit suicide, non-graduates commit suicide.

From the suicide note, one can see that she didn't see any meaning in life. This is one reason why people slip into severe depression and eventually into committing suicide.

Mind you, meaning in life has nothing to do with what society perceives as success. It has more to do with how the individual perceives it. That is why even a rich man who society perceives as successful may still battle with finding a purpose in life and then eventually committing suicide.

Whatever reasons she has... Suicide shouldn't have been an option. Imagine how could someone take his or her own life. She is not grateful after all.... Many are praying for long life and good health.

Suicide notes that tag loved ones are always written for the purpose of easing the pains of the victim's loved ones.

Some people even address their suicide notes to a loved one like a wife apologizing and stating reasons for their act. They will tell the wife to take care of herself and the children (if there are any) until they meet again.

And as for the reason for the suicide, she stated it in the note. She committed suicide because she found life meaningless. Failing to find meaning in life has been one of the reasons for many suicide cases.

I just hope her parents doesn't contribute to this particularly. I remembered a family friend's daughter back then in secondary school who was more sexually active and got pregnant. Her parents were pastor and own a church then. Instead of them to accept her condition and stand by her in hard times all they do is to abuse and abandon her because of they see it as shame on them. Well to avoid people finding out they brought her to stay with us. Her condition worsen only to discovered that she decided to kill herself and the baby by taking whatever drug she purchase. We were alerted and taken to the hospital before it gets late and luckily for her she survived with the baby.

Yes! suicide is not the best option but instead of sympathizing for the victim let try and help one another in whatever way you can specially when you know the person is really in bad times so will avoid stories that touch.
