Good evening house, this is my first time posting here. I will really need advises as regards me schooling abroad this year 2020.

I am 26 years and I have 4 years banking experience, is it advisable I go for my masters in the UK with the new intended 2 years post study visa, or I apply for Canada PR or go for my postgraduate in a Canadian school.

Your honest answers will be appreciated.

Hi everyone..
I hope y,all doing well
I’m new to this, I want to apply to a school in Canada. I graduated with a second class lower, it’s almost like a third class.
I’m 23 and considering a new BSC. I’ve heard age matters too. And can a non relative member be a sponsor?
Thank you

Only you can answer this questions you asked sincerely. However, this is my opinion;

1. Going to the UK; it is extremely expensive after which you get the two years work permit, but it is very difficult to convert that to a permanent residency going forward or finding a UK company to sponsor your work permit.

2. Canada express entry; With your work experience and IELTS you should be able to meet up with the requirement and get into the pool age and other social economic factors also considered*** the process can be long an tedious.

3. Study visa Canada; This remains the most popular route to Canada. With your experience you can come in and after a year try your luck and apply for PR. Also your experience in the banking industry will also help you get finance jobs here in Canada. Good luck

1. Age matters***
2. Try a post baccalaureate program
3. A non relative member can sponsor you if you can proof the relationship between you and the sponsor.

I have a 3.52 on the scale of 5,how would I convert that to the Canadian scale of 4.
Appreciated

That is 2.81 on a scale of 4. But note, sometimes those schools factors in your core courses and remove the unnecessary ones.

As we continue with the questions and answers for admission, please can we also see visa application/progress/success/ stories? Even refused visa applicants should also share their stories for help and advise. It will help those in similar situations and even those yet to apply.
Meanwhile, I say kudos to those who have been helping with responses. We are happy to always read your replies and grateful for your advice. Una well don

You don't need a new B.SC with a 2:2 you can get Masters in the UK in one year then apply for Canadian PR

I actually dont think its a good idea to go through this route. Express entry will suit your aim which is to work. But If you want to go through study, please focus on that and go to the school, others will align alongside.

My little advice. All the best

Bro the vivid truth is most people that come into Canada through the study route actually want to work. They just have to go through the study route because it's the easiest route to Canada. They get in and can establish themselves. For example you can do the normal part-time work of 20hrs and work full time of 40hrs during holidays. If you can withstand the pressure you can do other jobs like food delivery, uber etc to make extra cash. If you want to get married that's the easiest part.

In terms of cheap schools you'll have to look beyond onatario and other popular provinces to get affordable fees. All the best and I hope you do what's right for yourself.

Hello Everyone

For months I didn't go to collect my international passport after Canada visa refusal. I have emailed them recently and was told me my passport was sent to the Assistant Comptroller General of immigration service Ikoyi. I called the immigration service customer line and the first person I spoke to said I will have to come to Abuja but the next person I spoke with, the next day, said I should go to their Ikoyi office. The main issue here is that I am in Onitsha and won't want go to Abuja and not get it there and then go to Lagos. Please is there anyone that has an idea of how to recover my international passport in a situation like this. It's over a year now.

I hope this help.
