Op which state and country do you live in? Because that’s a black mamba (second most venomous snake after the inland taipan) and this particular specie of snake is not found anywhere near west Africa, only forest cobra we have here

That snake is venomous because the head is triangular in shape. The venom glands are normally at the jaws of the mouth thereby making the jaws big hence forming the triangular shape of the head.

Non venomous snakes don't usually have triangular heads.

Use Google lens to scan the picture and it will show you the name of the snake. That's more reliable than Nairaland.

Oh, I could just hug you tight and with joy for this suggestion. I really at all times use Google Lens even way back when it was called GOGGLES.
With a good android camera phone you can find out all sorts of information from the world's biggest databank, Google.

About this creepie, I know that in the animal world a lot of snakes mimic the appearance and colouring of their most potent and dangerous kin, in order to stay safe from other predators but for humans daring to ascertain whether or not a particular snake is venomous or not, is to check the bite marks or teeth patterns. A snake bite with a continuous pattern on the skin is said not to be poisonous, but one with 2 prominent or standalone marks a venomous and maybe poisonous slitherer.

I wish the photograph was clear enough to use Lens off the screen to get the proper name.

The most dangerous snake in the world is the inland taipan. It's found only in Australia, and its bite contains enough venom to kill at least 100 grown men. It also had round pupils and no facial pits. Snakes' pupil shape depends on the times of day in which they are active.

I pray you don't come in contact with them thinking because of round eyes they are harmless, and u think the eyes say they are non-nevomous, you will be history before you say "jack-robinson"

If this snake is really the a venomous snake like the green black mama, o think you're just blocking God's blessings for u by just killing them .
I mean their venoms are in high demand for pharmaceutical companies, so if u can do some research, make some contacts, u can learn how to safely catch these snakes alive, house them before u can sell them to the people tha will buy them from u for their venoms. A vial of venom from one snake here can be worth thousands of dollars. Go to social media and do ur research b4 u proceed.

Its a Rat snake. They are drawn to your house because you have Rodents lurking in your house. Eliminate the Rodents and you won't see any.

Black Mamba is not indigenous to Nigeria. That's a Southern African snake. If the OP could post a clear picture, this snake could be identified correctly.

I will advise u set that plot on fire than clear it with a cutlass or anything since u already know it’s snake infested. Snake can hide in holes and do damage.

No idea but you need to buy lots of bitter kola and place within and around your compound. It scares them away. You can as well plant anti snake. Not sure if it is a grass or flower. Always have a few number of onions in your kitchen in case someone is unfortunate and snake bites the person. The person should be forced to eat three pieces of onions. After eating the onions he or she will vomit black substance which is the venom. Please dont joke with snakes. They are very dangerous and most hospitals dont have the medicine. May God continue to protect us.

To get the answer you want, take a clear picture of it and upload it on an app called "goggle lens" . It would tell you the name and type of specie the snake is.
