There was a time Greenwood and AWB were free with acres of space on the right wing and the ball was on our left flank. It took Fred, Matic and i believe it was Maguire about 20 touches and 5 passes to get it to the right side, and of course by that time the space had been closed down.

Anybody hoping for Top 4 is building castles in the air.

And we had a Smalling who made these kind of clearances look easy. We abused him week after week. If he chased Salah from the halfline, he would catch up.

Well, I am impressed with some of the boys today, they put in extra effort and I am happy for the performance, matic was matured and played with experience, Fred was on fire today, great play by wan bisaka, shaw was averagely good.these guys are our good story.

But pereira and Maguire, I really don't know how to describe them, especially pereira, what a terrible player, no positioning, no vision, no ability to create chance, I don't know who he is to OGS, the trust in Him is questionable, he can't be blind to see he is the weak link and a short 1.


In all, we missed rashford, martial and James can't operate without him.

If I did not come to this thread today, in few weeks when this match is referenced, they would have told me that I do not watch football that the midfield is our problem. Even without McTominay, the midfield gave a good account of itself. The only player better than Fred today was Dijk. In the United team, Matic is among the top four.

And for the stats, Fred carried everything on his head. Even having the highest number of passes in the game just behind Dijk.

We are yet to gain proper understanding and cohesion in our play. There is no superman yet in the team to instill fear in opposition defence. Did you see how Ferminho is the least skillful among the forward Liverpool players was breaking our defnders. Even Martial cannot do that. Salah and Mane without the ball make defence panic. This gives other players room to shine.

One superman in United, everything could change. Plus understanding of playing together for a long time.

Long story short the attack is our biggest problem this season.

Yes. We need extra creativity in that midfield. But there's no denying that even with our depleted squad and midfield, we still create enough chances to win games. Unfortunately, our attackers are just not clinical.
