Bros you're good to go, but you have to prove to the ECO that you have strong ties to your country of origin e.g. landed property / building, family members etc.., that was part of what really gave me an edge on my last application and I got the visa, it's just an advice oooooo.

Good afternoon everyone! Please do all the documents I submit have to be in A4 format. Can I just scan my passport page directly and upload with the app or do I have to photocopy on A4 first then submit the scanned A4 photocopy?

This is for self service.

Hello guys, please how can I book free hotel reservation in London?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Oskyworld(m): 1:25pm On Jan 20, 2020
I've submitted my application form.
Self service and I'll be uploading docs myself.
I have few concern after following up on what Jusywise and giselle237 posted about ban and refusal once with highest possibility of being refused again.

1. I was once refused a visa Nov last yr, on fin. bases of spending 5x DI on a short trip (450k for 2weeks) and I was advised here to reduce my proposed spending and also reduce my ME from 100k to 50k so that DI wont b more than 2x and I've done that in my appl and also reduced my proposed spending in UK to 280k with explanation. The question here is, hope they won't ban me for stating that I usually spend 100k monthly but reduced to 50k now?

2. I own a house and I get rent yearly and I've stated this in my application, now 2 of my tenants are paying 300k each this week and I'll be printing my bank statement this week. Hope this won't raise a red flag?

Thanks

Obviously that will raise an eyebrow and do you think that budget of 280K will be enough for the trip?

1. I think the disposable income can change bcus human beings don’t spend the same amount of money every month.. well for me my expenses vary on my applications... so in my opinion.. my opinion ooo it shouldn’t be such a big deal.. I’m just worried.. was this application of last yr ... asin this November 2019 Asin 2 months ago?
2. If at this stage you are still asking about your tenants paying your rent and it won’t be a red flag.. then why will the ECO not think it’s a red flag? since it’s your property you should be able to prove beyond reasonable doubts that it’s your property and then it shouldn’t be a red flag.
3. 280k budget.. this is my 1st time hearing that.. perhaps you have an already arranged accommodation and feeding??

What can I do to salvage that reduction in monthly spending can I just explain I transfer 50k to my wife monthly for groceries and basic stuffs in the house or any suggestion plz?

The 280k is actually more than enough, strictly for flight. Accommodation, feeding, pick up and drop off to and fro airport are on my sponsor and he already sent 455k to my account (though they didn't consider the support fund in my first application) and I'm not going for tourism, its for a 2days assessment in the UK but I'm to arrive 2weeks b4 the assessment date.

Okay, guess explanation can sort the disposable income.
And on the 2months ago thingy, I got in touch with the UK ARMY that invited me and they were worried and they issued another IV immediately that I should reapply asap, reason for the 2months interval.

2. I can actually prove it with earlier receipt of ladt yr and that of this recent pay, just worried these guys see big inflow and money lodging...

3. Yeah, 280k as I explained earlier, I'm not going there for tourism, just a 2days assessment and I have a sponsor taking care of everything I could spend on there...

Only receipt to prove it’s your property? My dear they know recipts are easily obtainable in Nigeria.. pls kindly provide definitive documents to prove the rent is from a property that is actually yours... not audio property. It will be assumed as money lodgement until proven otherwise.. receipt is not enough

Maybe I'll tender all the properties doc and kukuma snap the house and the tenant then send screenshot of the property cached on Google maps...

Hello All,

Last week or two I posted the refusal letter of my friend.
They raised the issues of ''opening balance and unexplained credits''. Like i said before all credits were salary credits.
So, we re-applied after few days and she just collected her VISA today (priority- exactly 5 days).

What I noticed from her application;

1. She stated that her net salary was 750,000 Naira but this is not what was reflecting on her statement and payslips.
2. During her explanation on 'what to during her visit in the UK' she made a comment that she would be visiting a friend who recently moved to the UK from Naija.
3. She uploaded 7 month's payslip (which should be okay)

What we did differently:
1. We had to clearly and concisely explained why the variations on salary credits (she receives way above the 750,000 due to site inspection bonus, weekend bonus etc). Did a tabular representation linking each months salary credits to the appropriate payslips)
2. She highlighted that she is submitting the whole of 2019 payslips plus bonus evidence received to explain the 'opening balance - which she submitted. She also did mention the fact that she has been employed since few years ago so should have an opening credit .
3. During reapplication, she removed the part that 'she would be visiting a friend who...…...''
4. We closed all concerns raised with clear evidence.

Somethings i could deduce from this process are as follows:
1. ECO's don't have time to figure out what you meant - it has to be clear and straightforward.
2. You have to carefully complete you visa application form and ensure everything tallies (ur evidence)
3. If you think that you need to further explain anything - do a summary on the added info section of the application form referencing a detailed explanation on your cover letter.

Don't rush, look at it again and ask yourself questions as if you are the ECO.

But ofcourse! This is what you ought to do. So you didn’t plan on doing this initially ... even to tender property documents... omashe!
There’s no assumption in this visa thing... prove the veracity of all that you have filled out in your application with relevant evidence.

How much is ur salary?

How much ur current acct balance ?

Explain why they are paying about 400k to support your trip if truly you are financially stable in Nigeria... To me, as in to me ooo that's a red flag.

however. Don't let your tenant pay any money into the account ur gonna use for the application, Come to think of it, why havent they paid like 6months ago ... It doesn't work for them no more. Ask them to pay into another account .You should also give them a tangible reason why you monthly expenses has drastically reduced to 50k or else that's gonna be seen as deception. Please be careful n patient until u get it right.

@oskyworld please look at the bigger picture ijesha is painting... there’s something in it. I remember u telling us here sometime ago that you are self employed and that income fluctuates because you sell your products on jiji, jumia and all... however if someone feels strongly about a thing despite the clear picture infront want us to do again?
if a whole 600k will be paid just about the time of the visa, it might be misread whether or not it is truly income from rent.. plus why does ur brother in law need to sponsor you with 450k and I hope it’s not part of this 500k account balance u mentioned? If you were an ECO, would u give the visa with these loopholes?
I truly do hope it goes well this time but again.... look at what is going on

I think, I'll quit the rent inflow, but can I direct the rent fund to my wife acct and distribute to 10 ppl to send it to me in bits as payment for goods?
