Stating the amount can't remove anything from you .. Rather it will help someone to fill his form...Nawaaooo
steel101:
I am sorry to say that I will not be able to disclose my income here. However, the amount I stated as budget for the trip was not more than twice my disposable income.

Congratulations! Sorry to ask this... Pls what is your income and your disposable income? How much did your stated you are going to spend on your trip?

what of the Tracking
Tracking doesn't have anything to do with visa application outcome. Tracking is just to know the
processing time frame

Hello gurus in the house.

I am aware final balance carries weight in UK tourist visa application. If one needs to embark on a journey to the UK with no good final balance? what is the success rate. Also using a salary account that is good but such money finishes in 4days?

thanks

you mean your salary finishes in 4days? Then it means you don’t have disposable income

I don’t know if it’s a certain percentage of your salary or if it’s how long you have been employed with the company.

Deanoflagos:
how much do you advise as leave allowance?

. they know this coverup style of receipt... most times ‘audio receipt’ to cover up money lodgement.
Pls advise him.. it’s best he registers his business, get the required documents, build up his profile, pay himself monthly salary as people keep advising here, have enough money to fund a vacation, have enough money to be left even after assumed vacation budget will be deducted and then try to prove to the ECO he is not a prospective overstayer.. and no rushing.. not after 2months he go fly to embassy..

Thanks. Can he also issue himself payslip because he is the owner of the business? He also has about 4 staff he is paying. He will go and do the company registration soon.

Hello great people in the house...good evening to you all...I am yet to get an email concerning the outcome of my VISA and tracking shows that my passport has not been transferred to TLS.. I did biometric on Dec 9th.
Today I received this email and I haven't done the survey yet.
Does it mean my passport is ready and it has not been updated on tracking system?

This doesn't mean or imply anything other than to fill an anonymous questionnaire on the tls approval ratings. You are free to express yourself however you deem fit in that survey

Basically, when u go for biometrics u submit your documents together with your Int’l passport, so once the result is out you would be notified to come for your passport with or without visa.
However for some people who travel a lot with their passports & can’t afford to leave it with UKVI, they submit their application without passport & pay an extra N27k. So once a decision is made on their application, they come back & submit their passport & then pick it up after some days with visa (by God’s grace) or with refusal letter (God forbid).

The onus is on you to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the other sources of income is real because the strength of your application will depend on the registered business .
Besides you have to show strong ties to Nigeria, like evidence of property, children if any, investment among others.
But i will advise you to apply first inorder to increase your chances.
And again do you pay yourself salary monthly? Because business fund is not meant for vacation according to ECO.

Many civil servants like you have been given visas despite their small salary if you fill the application property.
I’m a civil servant also & i got my first visit visa 3 years ago when i was earning 68,000.

I was denied visit visa in 2019 because the vo did not believe funds in my accounts are truly mine because I mixed my personal and business accounts.

So I recently started paying myself 200k salary. I want to run this account for six months, I expect to have a closing balance of 900k after six months[b](opening balance is about 10k), which means my DI will average 150k.

I intend to spend 500k on the trip

My question is this, at visa application, can I pay myself leave allowance of about 200k.

200k + 300k ( 2months DI) = 500K

I own a sole proprietorship Company.

@justwise and other gurus, pls answer.

Please don’t try opening account balance of 10k with embassy, you would look unserious to them and think you are struggling.

I am applying for a new long term visa for my wife and my self and have a quick question.

Is there a separate section to include her application with mine as a joint application as a dependent as the only information requested so far was her passport information?

I remember I was able to do it on the old system but that was in 2014. I included it with my application at the end but I can't remember if it was before or after I paid the fee.

Thank you

I have other accounts with millions in balance and transactions but embassy complained that there was no proof the funds in the account was mine. This other account is for salary and personal expenses.
