What is “noise” in photos?

In digital photographs, “noise” is the commonly-used term to describe visual distortion. It looks similar to grain found in film photographs, but can also look like splotches of discoloration when it’s really bad, and can ruin a photograph. Noise tends to get worse when you’re shooting in low light.
From a technical point of view, noise is the visual manifestation of a lower signal-to-noise ratio, which is measured in decibels. While the amount of noise that you may consider acceptable may be different from what the next guy might accept, but most professional photographers want to see photos with at least a 30dB signal-to-noise ratio.

In digital image processing, you can apply band filters to remove these distortions.
Wow
I understand nothing here.

Yes you can. But first you'll unlock bootloader.

Did you order for global version or global ROM?

Okay, hope unlocking bootloader won't require computer or all those twrp apps and co?

I ordered for the global ROM not the global version but the seller mistakenly send Chinese ROM.

Alright. Just to be sure. If it's a Chinese ROM, you'll have to unlock your bootloader and then use mi flash to flash fastboot global ROM. Is it the global version you bought or Chinese version?

Lol, i weak for that guy, let him forward his "sufficient description" to a phone repairer and see if he won't be asked for pictures or to bring the phone over.
His response almost made me think he had issues with madam Fibonacci before now

The seller sent what you ordered for. When you where ordering did you select the global Version because it is usually more expensive than the Chinese version.
(If the seller sent something outside your order you can file for a dispute but if you didn't select the global Version during purchase you will lose the dispute).

To install global ROM, you have to apply for bootloader Unlocking, unlock the bootloader and flash the Global ROM.

Incase of next time be very vigilant during purchase or buy locally.

Chinese ROM is not that bad. My Dad currently uses RN7 with a Chinese ROM. The only downside is sync and lack of some LTE BANDS

GCam is short for Google Camera normally found on Google Pixels by default but now exported to supporting devices and it is used for taking pictures.

He clearly has issues? Because he is having a problem with his Xiaomi Device. Is that what made him to have issues? If he was praising Xiaomi he wouldn't have issues. Now he has a problem with his device he has issues. How original of this thread?
I'v always tried to avoid quoting you; Bro, Do take a break from this thread pls..... You come across to many here as a troublemaker. It's only natural to stay away from people you know aren't ready to listen to you, dunno why you're different....... Just chill. They don't wanna heed to your advice, then stop advising. The last time I checked, people worked hard for their money here and any choice they make as regards their devices isn't anybody's business....

To all intending Xiaomites, even if you get recommendations on here about Xiaomi gadgets, it is entirely your decision to accept or throw it out. No one can guarantee that the device you'll get won't be defective or would serve you without any fault at all.

The fact that the Redmi Note 8 I posted this with doesn't have battery issues or any known problem for now doesn't mean someone else's Note 8 won't experience any problem at all.

My phone may fall from a storey without suffering any damage, someone else's screen and back glass may break after falling off a table. It depends.

Ask for advice, get recommendations from people but buying a Xiaomi device is entirely your decision please. Don't come here and start whining about how bad your device turnout to be.

#No be Only Xiaomi dey market abeg....

If you wish, you can open dispute because the seller out to have flashed the phone from China ROM to global ROM.

Or just let it go and do the flashing yourself

See as you just jump to conclusion without any verification or confirmation, oga i ordered for global rom but its the sellers mistake to sent the wrong rom which he has apologise for when i told him and i dont see any reason to open dispute again.
