Now that the Lagos state Government have banned the operations of Okada and Keke, there is a high demand for transportation using minibuses.

I live in a densely populated part of Lagos and i see how people trek every blessed day because the available minibuses cannot meet the demand.

I am seriously considering beginning a hire purchase business model with minibuses, but there are pressures from different quarters that the okada-keke ban be lifted so i want to give it a few months to know the exact state of things.

Nonetheless, let us consider brainstorming the various aspects of this business.

Thanks

Ask Again. GTB's interest rate for that amount and tenor is not up to 2%. Not even up to 1.5%

You ask again.

For 1m and above.

My account manager just confirmed that it was reduced to that rate yeterday.

Please did you say 4.5% interest per anum or per month?

If LASG will reverse, it will be for O'ride, Gokada, Max.ng

While Davido colleagues were struggling to have their first N100 million about 10 years ago.
Davido already has a head start because he has that to his name.

While his colleagues will use part of their new found N100 million to build a befitting house for their parents , settle their parents and extended family.
Davido does not have to stress himself with that because his parents already have befitting houses, his siblings are doing well because their parents can afford to provide the good things of life for them, his cousins, aunts, uncle's and extended family are equally okay and won't be a financial burden on him.

Good afternoon, Becuase of the plummeted rate of Treasury Bills I have been looking for an alternate investment so I approached Investment One.

I registered on investment one and before I transferred money I asked the person assigned to me if there were any problems with my account so that when I transfer the account will be opened swiftly, he said no problem, after I transferred he started saying that I needed to send a valid utility bill which we resolved, he then said he will open the account which was 2 days ago, I called yesterday he said he will open the account before the close of work yesterday, I called today, he refused to pick and cut my call, is this how Investment One works, right now I am no longer interested in investing with a company that cannot keep to their word and plays hanky panky with my money, I have instructed him via text that I want my money back

Please house, can you advise me on a means or method which I can retrieve my money speedily, do I need to get a lawyer? Do I need to write to SEC?

Thanks for your swift response

Collect your money on Monday and try Stanbic MMF

Could you advise how someone could get reliable drivers, it is very difficult to get trusted drivers to take charge of these vehicles, I have these buses in stock and want to put them on the road but how to go about it seems a challenge, i buy them directly so the costs is good, I heard good drivers account for up to N50k per week.

I have 11 pieces currently and another 14 very shortly.

I thought about something, since all rates are falling, quite a good number of companies would want to take advantage by rolling out commercial papers at a reasonable rate above Tbills current rate.

Can anyone assist with ongoing commercial paper auctions

Sorry to derail!

Please financial Experts in the House, I need your help on PAYE tax.
Can Personal Income Tax for a contract worker who is earning monthly but his contract duration is less than one year be calculated on pro rata basis? Would it not be unfair to multiply someone who earns like #700k monthly (for a 6 months contract) by 12 i.e pa and use the Personal income Template outlined by the FIRS? Seeing the person is earning per contract duration and not annually, can his PAYE be calculated based on gross earnings for the contract duration? Please I need ur inputs .
PAYE for an employee is paid based on the number of months he/she has worked.

The calculation is annually though(leave dat headache to the Accountants).

This new week, part of my plan is to take random rides in this minibuses so that i can converse and sample the opinions of several drivers, and your question will be part of what will be asked. I will get back to you here about my findings

Meanwhile, what is the average cost of procuring one of these buses?

do what Dangote did:
Employ graduates only.

So go through a standard employment process just like company employing company drivers.

That process removes touts, and gives you people you can hold their degrees and give rules and they will follow.
