Yes this container it's in TICT it was after so much complain and even threat I got it step down that's why Berge fee on TICT was removed while fought this, bro mhen I'm highly surprised that a fellow agent that knows much more of this happens is talking like this

Anyway please my sincere appology

@ Oliverjiad you owe me no apology.

I thought you said the container has been listed among the containers to be transferred to SCOA terminal which I believe step down can no longer be done. now after like a whole month you are still succeeded in stepping it down at TICT?

I’ve been in the industry for a while now and am not and ordinary car agent like many here, even though I clear cars am mostly into clearing of general/ bulk cargos ( house hold items, supermarket items, building materials, chassis cars and used cars) and I’ve worked in all container terminals in both Lagos and P/H.

Stop drawing us back and please scroll back to the pages of the thread if you haven't.

Answer these questions;

1. Did he steal the container?
2. Did he misplaced the container?
3. Can't there be delay in the delivery of any service?
4. Did he apologized for the delay or not?

I can't take you serious if you don't reply with your answers to the questions.
You are just shameless.

The clients to this man are understandably worried about the fate of their investment because of the way things have gone awry despite having paid way beyond the agreed amount all you can do is to abuse and insult them. Shame on you.

Now the truth is out that he was able to step it down against his earlier lies that it was too late. So if he stepped it down, why did he not proceed with clearing?

One of the owners of the cars agreed to front the outstanding amount on the condition that Oliverjiad signs an agreement that the container will be out this week. As the person works at Ikeja Mall, I asked Oliverjiad to meet him there to sign the agreement and collect the money. His conclusion is that we want to arrest him. He prefers the person leaves his job and come to Tincan to meet him. Interestingly, my brother went to Tincan last week to meet with him as agreed, and he tossed my brother all day and never came to the agreed meeting.

Oliverjiad, we have been patient with you because of our clients and the fact that we want this issue resolved ASAP. But note that our patience is not infinite.

container would be deliver by Wednesday but currently today is gone assuming the agreement soft copy can be sent to me on mail or whatsapp I can get print and signed and forward back it's very simple

Earlier before today I have promised this week and I even made mention that by Wednesday the container would be out

You made it look so simple... Yeah, it is simple. But would be simpler if you can go sign the hard copy. But the simplest of all, i.e for us, is if you don't come and sign the documents, you know why.? Any law enforcement agency involved already knows the type of people that suddenly refuses to show up just to sign a document while having an inconclusive transaction to the tune of millions (in naira) and why they refuse to!

You didn't plan your fraud well (this particular one). Have you forgotten amd.man is not the only affected person?
Have you forgotten there are 4 cars in that container, belonging to different people.? Do you know the type of people they are.? And how far they will go (collectively) to deal with a criminal that's delaying their vehicles for weeks.? Do you know how far amd.man will go to protect his reputation in this business.?

As an adult, be ready to face the consequences of whatever you do. It'll be better for you to go and sign that document, I can assure you, you'll be arrested and dealt with lightly, which is what you deserve. But if you refuse to go, you'll still be arrested but this time, punished heavily and facing the full face of the law Choose your poison!

The only amounts you have been able to clarify is in the region of N1.4m. You are now claiming you spent N500k on documentation, agency charges and customs exercise and without receipts. Really?

Please can you get me the name of the licenced agent's name he uses?

I got it...

This is not right sir. I know the owner of the agency and not this man, and this person in picture might not even know Babajide at all.

Sincerely, when issue like this happens, the best is not name calling and dragging, femmy2010 should have offered them practical advice when he was consulted.

The moment I saw Ashaye gate exit and the transfer, I assumed a lot is involved, the container was never transferred.

Sincerely, if you arrest Babajide now, you are at loss. Whoever is paying for the demurrage, get rid of this mess by settling the demurrage and sort yourself later. No agent would agree to deliver this at this stage.

I implore you to do underground investigation on that container before parting with more fund. Tip a license agent to do a covert job based on the informations he has supplied.

That container might be somewhere safe off the custom periphery just to milk you.

As a psychologist, if the container is within clearing range, he'll come out straight with details but since the container is supposedly in his custody, he'll behave cunningly. Another thing is that he won't want to jeopardize his relationship with whomever he's using his license to operate.

Do a due diligence tomorrow, that container I am sure is within his reach.

Another week is here, Both Oliverjiad and Amdman are still going back and forth, while those whose vehicles are in the container and who didn't signup for this delay as a result of Amdman's failure to carry out due diligence and background check before assigning to a clearing agent Vs. Oliver's nonchalant attitude to work and poor client management skills ends up suffering for the delay in having the vehicles they paid for 3-4 months ago.

This is an eye opener indeed.

Oliverjiad,

Reading the above, that is the hallmark of a Fraudster.

He has refused to come out to meet with designated people so as to proceed to clear the container.

A clear conscience fears no accusation.

He knows he is fraud, that is why he has refused to show up to meet Amdman's representatives.

I would think it would stupid for mr Agent to willingly block and sabotage a continous job...I dont dont know this man...my cars 1..which I packed stuffs I needed for xmas and 2. another i wanted to use for xmas came out two days before I left for my base...after stories up and down...I went to lagos to see for myself ...the whole system is messed up...ship that berthed was not despatched untill a week after...completely flawed system...saturated ports coupled with poor system and management

Call a spade, a spade... Don't come here and utter senseless speech, hiding on the cover of indirectly thinking you can dissuade potential buyers...

The previous container was cleared less than 2 weeks, infact 11 days precisely - including weekend sef. I was personally at Tincan to drive home on Dec 22... Despite the December rush and backlog, it took just 8 business days.

Oliverjiad is just an unfortunate being, trying to devour other people, all because they trying to give him work to do. He doesn't know what he's missing yet... I wish he can think deep and have foresight to know he shouldn't have treated regular customers this way.
