Chai, all this plenty money for one visa. I don use brain calculate am, the money go they pursue almost 500k. I guess it's because you werent able to upload your documents your self and was just at their mercy.
What should have been done was to apply for both of you online, submit and even if you need self service, you walk in together, but I guess you needed the visa fast.

What I did during my time was to apply for I and my spouse, uploaded our documents, booked normal free appointment for same day and time and we walked in same time. Our passport still came out same time and visa granted and I spent less than 100k for both of us in all.

Actually it cost a fair bit more than that...I typically always use the Premium Lounge as I don't like spending the whole day moving from seat to seat on a queue. The only unplanned cost was the Flexi Appointment. I only completed the forms a few days to my appointment date hence the regular appointments were unavailable. Total Cost came down to around 600k plus per person including visa fee

Ibukun120:
Hello everyone,

After a visa decision was overturned and you have resubmitted your passport. How long does it take for them to get back to you to come and collect your passport

Regards

Mine has passed a month..since 30th DEC..What should I do?
MT:

Try and be patient. There are some that have submitted since early December who have not got a reply till date. Just be patient, when they are done, they will get back to you.

My wife got hers within 3days, tls didn’t contact her for pick up, she had to go there to check and noticed her passport was returned with visa to vac the next day she submitted it. If you don’t hear from them after 3days, go there to check.

Good day everyone,

My brother got his 2 year visit visa to the UK last year. He travelled to the UK in December and lost his passport while in the UK. He reported to the authorities in the UK and he was given a travel document to come back.

He has a new passport now and we will like to know if he can transfer his visa to the new passport and ways to go about it.

He reported on the 6th day after arrival to the UK which was the day he misplaced it. But he spent 1 month in total in the UK.

During collection of your passport from the VAC, will that paper that they ask you to bring during submission be collected back from you or will you be allowed to take it with you after you collect your passport.

Kindly reply, as it is urgent.

I applied for Standard UK visitor visa online using self-service for upload of documents. My biometrics was on February 5th, 2020 at Ikeja. I got a message today February 12, 2020 from TLS that my passport is ready. Is that a good sign or a bad sign? I wasn't expecting it so soon.

Picked up my passport today, it was a refusal.

Was told that a large sum of fund that is different from my salary came in to my account towards my planned trip. This was a NTB that matured.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 7:41pm On Feb 13, 2020
@john If you think it was wrong and u have proofs of this money that its urs and matured, pls send the reconsideration mails. At least we have seen a few turnovers here. Sorry.
