big pie, with yogurt and curry.

It is not pie

It is plain dosa or masala dosa if with little filling of smashed potatoe and with sambar

I think you have not eaten pie either

How can you compare a pie with that ultrathin rice layer dosa

This is masala dosa , I like it oooo

It is both neutral , spicy , tangy and sour

Depends what side servings you choose to dip your dosa in .

Very crispy at the outer edges and soft at the centre

Spend my hard earned money on these in Nairobi

heard a hindu temple around, just went check it. but i was not a hindu, no interest to be inside, especially they requested me to take off my shoes and stash away my phone or cameras !

That's a magnificient temple right there.

Looks familiar to the one in Tamil Nadu.

The history of these placces are things of legend.

One ought to have follow the protocol when visiting olden days sites, they tell people to take off their shoes and no cameras because, firstly its considered sacred to the locals and furthermore, they wish to protect the site from deteriorating.

Its a protocol used in all protected sites around the globe.

When visiting these type of sites, whether one lives local or are travelling from a distance, one would have to plan such tour.

Its normally advised to visit as a group, some stay outside holding all electronic gadgets whilst the first group goes in and vice versa.

Tell me, why would anyone not want to visit a tourist attraction?

Personally, these are the reasons for visiting these type of countries.

When ever one visits any country that has olden days sites of high historical significance to the specifics of that region, the best thing one can does is visit these places take in spectacle and share the experience.

Although, i appreciate if you dont care for world history.

That said, its indicative that we concentrate our focus on our own history.

ok, you win. troll.

in india alone, there are one million FAMOUS temples and parks, gardens, historic sites.... you should never miss anyone of them. for sure.

only banal people choose to visit so-called renowned places suggested by guide books. if op is not a free-thinker and a fiecely independent traveler, he would not even take up a train pilgrimmage, instead he would sit at home being a troll.

Yes, that's the advice we've been given.

Our seasoned professionals advice that in order to have a better experience, devise a plan before visiting tourist attractions.

Give your project a name.

create a functional group, devise a plan and stick to your plan.

One would predetermine who is holding the phones, who is in controll of travel expenses, who is in control of dining expenses, who's going in first, who's staying to watch the phones and electronic gadgets.

It helps to research on the places prior to visiting, and after your experience, compare and contrast.

One might have to visit some place more than once to get the required experience, that's a normal situation to arise.

It's clear you have no idea what you are on about.

Firstly, you call yourself a troll. Yes, i agree you are.

Secondly, the post you chose to quote was one that wasnt directed to you specifically now, was it?

Therefore, by definition you are the troll. You are trolling the thread.

Assuming you didnt want a response, why quote my post in the first place?

If you havent anything sensible to connect my contribitions to, its on you.

It's hard to determine what your motivation is, are you disputing good pieces of advice, are you suggesting that what is being said isnt pertaining to the thread, or what? What is your excuse for trolling the thread?

You can jog along now.

The situation of the 'untouchables' is worst than previously thought. There needs to be further global awareness; a sustained campaign bigger than ever before, pushing the situations of the Dalit to the fore front of debate.

The caste system in India is strong since it's based on religious beliefs.

From the thread so far, it appears the OP is not in India to visit the tourist sites but to traverse the country by train.

So I don't think it should be a problem unless I'm missing something @Amujale. Perhaps you feel he was disrespectful? Besides, he said he was not in a group, it might be rather difficult to do the camera thing.

The person with the threads on Greece was travelling as a tourist and visiting tourist sites, therefore this topic is different from that one. The OP here is checking out the average everyday India (I believe).

Yes bro, I get it.

I was merely giving a practical solution to the specifics of that scenario, for those of us who are into sight-seeing and visiting tourist
sites.

It wasn't being critical, I was merely leading my professional opinion.

Cheers!

I just don't know why we can't have peace in Nigeria.

Has anyone ever heard of the southernmost part of the country, which should be somewhere in the SS, but of course nothing about it is known to the public.

And nobody could try to visit the place because it would likely be in a restive area (meaning unsafe ) and even if not, visitors wont be welcomed.

True, and will further add that Russia is a transcontinental country, one of the few countries that meets the above criteria, the others areĀ  Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Turkey.

Armenia and Cyprus are as well geographically located in West Asia.
