THIS BUILDING, LOCATED AT IYANA ERA, ALONG BADAGRY EXPRESSWAY, IJANIKIN, LAGOS STATE.

The edifice is sitting on approx 2 acres of land. Filled with area boyz who has turned the place to home. A lot of atrocities happening from drugs, rape, fights e.t.c. WHY IS GOVERNMENT SO INSENSITIVE TO THIS??

Report has it that the building has been there for long, and there's even a National Post Graduate Medical College, Foreign Affairs Academy, Federal Government College, Ijanikin, and DSS Quaters, close to it.

How on earth will such asset waste away?
Coupled with the fact that it is a den of criminal activities.

Can our government, Federal, State and Local government get interested in every property in Nigeria?

Please, be kind to draw the attention of appropriate agency and government officials to this, also similar ones nationwide.

It was suppose to be the HEADQUARTERS of the National Social Insurance Trust Fund, NSITF (formerly, National Provident Fund) and was envisaged by Olusegun Obasanjo in 1979 when he was military head of state.

Our wasteful state as usual has left a building of over 18 floors to waste.

Coming towards Okokomaiko, close to the Police Station....there is another abandoned DSS signal mini- barracks that has been there.....grasses have covered the houses sef....just a waste.

Abokis now sell their rams at the entrance.......

They know guys for area now.....some of them attended the same school with me...grew up playing football together etc....

But that place is a den of everything negative. Anybody you see entering that side, male or female is not responsible.

When the govt remembers this place plenty houses will go, people have built on the surrounding land.

Back in the early 2000s it was an unwritten rule never to pass there in the evening, seems its safer now. Not much gory stories as before.

Know this area very well
Very bad place to be most especially at night.
Ojo dey very bad
Full of area boys and men of the under world
They mostly come in through the Igbede River, commit crime and disappear

When you mention snake in and around this building, it will hit the front page faster. Op take note

Nigerian leaders and citizens are too wasteful.

Not far from my place of abode. Am glad someone brought this to NL... Our Government and negligence

There are plentiful wastes like this scattered all over the country. One even sits by the local airport.

These buildings should be sold off. It's wasting away.

Hmmm. It seems a very solid structure.

That's my area,the building is called Ile Nla, initially it was occupied by hoodlums and miscreants,but with the effort of the OPC and the Neighborhood guys.Everywhere is clean.
To be sincere, it's nothing but a waste of resources

I know this building very well, we can even sight it from Lagos Badagry Expressway. This building can be completed and used as d headquarters of one agency that will benefit that area swears �

It's ketu I was so curious to know how the building is some 16 years back I was took it has been like that since ibb regime

That was the landmark when I'm getting close to my alma mater FGCL Ijanikin before seeing the great 'Waterworks'
