Nice GPA. Though your GRE does not match the weight your GPA carries.
Execept I have a deep pocket I would try to avoid direct courses in Data Science, Business Analytics and Cybersecurity. There is very little history of funnding coming from those fields. What I advise candidates is to rather consider Computer Science, then major in data science.
Computer science has an impressive level of funding history btw.

It isn't easy writing these exams while working especially in the busy city of Lagos. I must admit it's low.

I have started researching on schools running Computer Science with Data Science option.

I will appreciate if you have idea of any of such university.

Thank you.

Well done everyone and I appreciate the great work you're all doing.
I read a lot about VOs and the embassy asking about strong ties to Nigeria. What happens in a situation where a girl is single, in her late twenties and about to go for a Master's program. She has been given admission, a great assistantship, a very good monthly stipend and a full tuition waiver. Will her single status count much?

A girl has no problem.
A girl is a student.
A girl is not expected to be married.
A girl is not expected to have landed properties either.
A girl will not be asked a direct question for any home ties.
But a girl should know about her research...not with vague words o.
A girl should bounce to the embassy and kwalect her visa.

A girl has no face...but all is well with a girl.

There are a few schools. You need to ace the quantitative section of the GRE and put more of your focus on schools with terminal Masters and no PhD in Economics to increase your chances of finding.
.
Thank you sir. Can I message you?

Good evening house,

I sent a mail to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, asking them when can i send my new statement of account for the release of my new I-20....the response I got was 'you can send your updated financial guarantee on or about feb28, 2020.
My question is what do they mean by the word 'on or about feb 28, 2020'?

Hello all, i have a question to ask. My passport is going to expire next year and i'm about applying for a US masters program for the upcoming fall semester that runs for over a year. Peradventure i do get admission, what exactly am i supposed to do to get visa? I assume i would have to cancel my current passport and apply for a new one. Don't really know, honestly in the dark here

Since, your passport is expiring next year then you don't have any issue. You can use the current passport data page to process i-20 and of-course you can visit the embassy for your interview for fall if you are going to book your interview. In summary you don't have any issue. Good-luck!

If she is working her job can be a strong home tie. She can send me a PM so that I can have a better picture of her profile.

This answer sounds lyrical but I take it to mean that the girl must prepare to marshal her points well. The girl has a face but she is not a Nairalander. I'm a concerned relation. It is well!

Please, school has sent the list of what i need to send to them including my sponsor's SOA. what does the professor need to do since he has funding and he has accepted to take me. Kindly advice

I'm applying to the north Illinois University with my HND, if I'm sending my transcript to the school am i sending both OND and HND transcript?
If yes, am i paying for both or just a single payment? Because you have to make payment request for your transcript in school.

My school is bent on sending the transcript which reduces the transfering cost via WES, should I go through WES official page or send through my school. Your urgent advice please

Please I have a First Class in Computer Engineering and IELTS academic score of 8.0.

Are there US schools that offer generous funding for someone like me?

Please your suggestions are highly appreciated.

My is a permanent resident of the US. He suffered a stroke and in Coma for a couple of days before he got out of it. Spoke with the Dr and he advised that a family member needs to be with him as he would require hell for physiotherapy and help with using the bathroom and all. I intend traveling to the US to be with my Dad. I would take a leave of absense at work to spend 3 months with him. What are my chances and also would a statement of account be required. Please I need help

Hmmm.

Ok ooo.

On means, you can send it on that very 28 of February.
About means, you can send it before the very 28 of February of around that period.

So to be on a safe side, send it before 28 or on 28.

Hello house,
I am new here but gone through almost half of the threads. I applied to 4 schools for Fall 2020 namely: Hood college(private small uni), ETSU, Emporia state uni, Mid west uni although I am yet to get final admission decisions yet . I plan to go with my 4+ year old a US citizen. ETSU is requesting for GRE but it seems the other requesting may give me a waiver since I have a masters already. My background is construction but applying for computer/info systems/tech. My questions are:
Regarding the account statements be submitted to the school- must I submit the same account that I would be taking to the embassy during visa interview(my brother would be sponsoring tuition only and I am a director in the company)
We have some small funds that can cover part of expenses but not tuition do I need to send my account showing that along side sponsorship account to the school?
my husband is staying back working, is it okay to state at the visa interview that funds would be coming in monthly from husband to cover expenses?
Since My son wouldn’t req a visa, do I need to state him during my I20? How do I factor him and the additional dependant cost into my application process or no need stating him at all?
Thanks for the responses that will address these.

Without English proficiency YES cos Nigeria is an English speaking country, but do they not require GRE for funding?

I think you should do your homework and find out their application requirements on the dept homepage or better still email either the graduate school or the dept to find out these things you are asking here.

You need to indicate that you bringing a dependent on your I-20.
