Man I must Shaq and MJ's tribute really moved me. Never seen MJ get that emotional before. Him and Kobe were most definitely tight. He even jokingly/affectionately referred to Kobe as a "Nuisance" at one point grin. However the one that moved the most though was Vanessa's. She is your perfect definition of a strong woman. You have my Full respect Ma'am.

Lebron was in attendance too but politely asked that no Cameras should be on Him.

The whole speech was my high point if any high point could be gleaned from the day.

I've never seen MJ go into this detail about anybody else. Was really touching to see how heartfelt his words were. And the range of emotions you felt just watching

If you have observed, over the last year, the GOAT has retreated even more and away from the limelight, but only such catastrophe can bring him out and in front of the world on national TV again.
It was quite touching to see. I like where he said no matter how annoying Kobe was, you always found a way to love him. The crying meme also lightened the mood. I know Kobe is proud where ever he is now because the world has shown how much he meant to us.

going for the Wayne Gretzky record!

Ovi’s overall conditioning for a hockey player is unheralded, I mean, the man very rarely gets injured and I can see him playing until he is 40. So, yes there is a strong possibility that the great 8 will tie or break that record.

I remember saying here that I'd take Beal over Klay any day. Well I didn't mean to say that, what I wanted to say is I'd take Beal over Klay everyday and twice on Sundays.

It was a really great speech and it revealed much more about the GOAT than perhaps we knew before and still somehow did it without losing sight of the fact that the day was Kobe's. One of the best eulogies you will ever hear

Indeed. An older, more mellow MJ. I saw another of MJs interviews like a week before Kobe passed. He talked like an older man, just looked weird to me at the time.

The unsettling part of the speech for me was seeing Bill Russell. I was thinking last year this man doesnt have long - you can see he has turned the corner when it comes to aging. But he is still here, and someone far younger is not. This life.

Lool man he's 57. We got to realize these guys are slowly but surely getting older. It will take some getting used to as we see them morph from adulthood to middle age to retirement level and beyond

Bill Russell is like almost 80 or over 80? Anyway that's the sad part about life. With Kobe he was just getting started properly with life outside basketball, he had so much left to give to the up and coming generation of ballers both male and female and perhaps the most heartbreaking of all is that we are never going to know how good his daughter would have been.

Really looked for reasons to see yesterday as a celebration of life as they said but just couldn't find anything to celebrate about

In a Vacum, maybe however I don't think either can be your best player if your ambition is to win a Title. As a No2 though, I'm picking Klay. Not only can He seamlessly fit into any team, He is also not a sieve on the defensive end.

Naah, as a number 1 I definitely can choose Beal, he's earned it. Ball handler, scorer(not just shooter), leader...imagine having Beal and Jokic in your team plus the right pieces, that's a championship team. I don't think you could say the same for Klay/Jokic, or even any other big.

In that Scenario, Jokic is the by farrrrr the No 1 player so my opinion still stands tbh.

I chose Jokic because he's on the same level with Beal in terms of superstar status. I didn't choose Giannis or AD. Jokic being by farrrrr the No 1 is overexaggerating.

Wtf! Beal over Klay? In what world. Please basketball is played on both ends of floor and the totality of what Klay brings to the game is more than Beal anytime anyday.

We are often prisoners of the moment but klay in the absence of curry clamped Harden and also outplayed him on offence in 2016.

Let Beal average 20 point while play all NBA defense level against the best wings and guards in the game, then we can have this discussion.

No Beal is not on the same Level as Jokic Superstar status or otherwise. There is a definite and clear Gap between the two players. Jokic is at worst a Top 7 player in the League at this moment whilst Beal on His best day will struggle to crack Top 10 If we are being Honest.

So basketball is only about scoring? No defense, no off the ball skill, etc? Clap for yourself.

By his standards, Trae Young should just be at the top. Since he's 3rd in scoring and not just a scorer but a shooter. Nonsense grin

Coby White on another level recently
Past 3 games - 33pts, 33pts, 35pts.
Outrageous for a rookie, and he's doing this off the bench.
LaVine continues to ball. Dude is scorching it on offense and continues to improve in other areas.

If Markkanen and CarterJr can play to their ceiling, then these Bulls will become a formidable team.
Markkanen in particular is my concern. I hope Boylen gives him freedom to tear it up.

Sorry bro, Jokic ain't no top 7. He's top 20 at best, and Beal falls into top 20 too. Don't underestimate Beal because he's in a sh*t team.

Lmaooooooo his big mouth was what did him in. Blaming his costume. I don't know who asked him to skip leg day because I have never understood how a 6'7 ninja had such tiny legs

After the Ortiz fight I knew he had casted. His L was a few fights late
