As to how to go about it, i dont know because ive not done it before or had anyone done it before, so im planning of going to high court and explain myself then follow their instruction but im open to your advise

It’s just that I’ve read about many cases of people that put married on B1/B2 applications and later say they are single after filing for K-1, without any proof of dissolution of marriage! Those embassy guys have no chill cus Naija is a high fraud region. Anything that seems like a red flag will likely lead to denial, thus it is important to do your homework properly! Your case is genuine but it still seems dicey! Go to the court and confirm how to go about it! And keep us updated; it is of utmost importance that you don’t present any misleading document to the Embassy.

But what about the package that the couples marries when the foreign spouse visits?

No, the foreigner goes to the US to marry their fiancé the US petitioner and stays there and adjusts their status to become a permanent resident. I don’t know if you can leave after the marriage but I don’t think that’s the idea.

One of my problem is that i wish to go for the spousal visa but she is a nurse and cant afford to come here twice but once. From some info, they said for spousal visa, she has to visit atleast twice, so this is a blow to me

First off there are not packages that you decide and subscribe to.. They are visas that grant you access to a country and for you to gain such access you need to fit into the category of the visa you are applying for. Spouse visas are different from k1 visas.. No one is short it only depends on your case. Some people own took 1year some are 6 months and so on. So first off decide with your fiancee.which one are you guys doing?..then you begin from there. Also I think 6months is a short time after a divorce to meet and get engaged to someone else but if that's your case I suggest to meet the requirement of meeting 2 times before your petition. That's my opinion tho not a standard.

There’s an ongoing ban on spousal visa,so it makes more sense to file for K-1. I wish you the very best bro

If there was a lie on your previous tourist application, get an attorney to write and inform the embassy about the misrepresention, before going for your interview. Before the consular finds out about it on the interview day. That’s the only way you can be pardoned and granted visa . I wish I knew everything on my previous tourist visa before going for my K1 interview.

Are you married? If you are married you have to apply for the spousal visa if you are engaged and want to get married in the US then you apply for the fiancé visa

you can send him/her the soft copy to print from there, I sent mine via FedEx after which i realized i wasted money instead of sending the soft copy
