I don't know why southerners with close to zero knowledge about core north demography always like to romanticize the Hausa and dehumanised the Fulani when both group are one and the same. An average Hausa from the north west will die protecting the interest of the Fulani. I'm not saying that is a good or bad thing but that is how they want to live.

Thank you very much. I vehemently agree with this.
Hausas & Northern minorities muslims deserve no pity or sympathy cos they don't even want it. ... If they are comfortable and happy with the fulanis in their midst, no problem.

Only the Hausa Christians of Katsina, Zaria & Kano deserve any sympathy, but even they themselves have never come out to speak.

What of the English Empire that colonized and forced Christianity on Africans ?.

What of the Roman Empires that colonized the English & forced Christianity on the world after killing Jesus ?.

Stop telling stupid lies. The British never forced christianity on Africans. It was Western missionaries from America, Canada & Europe that came to evangelize Africans who accepted christianity on their own freewill.

If for anything, the British colonialists even promoted and supported Islam in Northern Nigeria using the indirect rule system of government.

Dan Fodio never conquered the Yoruba, if you are in doubt pick a history book.

His followers conquered a part of Yoruba (Ilorin) through treachery and sacked Katunga (the old Oyo empire)... However, Yorubas defeated and repelled them at Osogbo.

Thank u!
Meet an Hausa scholar and he will tell you how fulanis used religion to brainwash them into allowing them to Lord over them as Allah representative in Nigeria.

By the time they knew it, everything was taken over by them and they were relegated to the villages to farm.
Not only farm but farm for the fulanis who has also taken over their lands.

The fulanis are the most educated in the north. So all govt openings naturally went to them.

In as much I hate politicians, I can see what ganduje is doing.
He isn't a fulani puppet like kwankwanso and if that man still stays in the corridor of power in the next 10 yrs, the hair as will fight those people.
He has systematically made Hausa people emirs irrespective of the story behind that.
That office is strictly fulani.
He is chasing their children out of the street.
Once they are educated, they can challenge the fulanis.
That's the only way

Fulanis have heavily intermarried and Intermixed with the Hausas (especially the elite and middle-class)... The Hausa elite and middle-class are the only ones who can save Hausa land, but will they be saving Hausa land from their wives and inlaws (fulanis)?

Abeg forget Hausa people or northern minorities muslims. The only ones you can pity for are the 2-4 million Hausa christians who are indingenes of Kano, Zaria & Katsina. ...These ones need to emigrate to join Plateau, Southern Kaduna & Gongola and we join the south to fight out of this useless country.

Thank you very much. Blue3k2 seems to be the new mouthpiece of the Sokoto caliphate.

However, just like you said, I think Danfodio does not deserve to even be talked about cos it's a very big shame that many years later, the people whom he conquered to purify their islam and lead them are now the poorest, most illiterate and backward people in the world.

Danfodio destroyed the Hausa race and rendered them very backward and unproductive. Such a shame.

...far worse than that. He wiped off their cultural identity.

Musa Muhammed
Abubakar Isa
Ibrahim Suleiman
Yunusa Mamman
Yussuf Abdullahi

These are names you see in Hausaland, their own indigeneous names are wiped out. Gone...forgotten forever!

They used to have masquerades and babalawos and aborishas, they are all killed off. Hausas have forgotten their drum beats and dance steps. Because fulani told them it is sin to play music and dance....they said Muhammed will be upset.

Meanwhile, fulani refuse to let go of its own ancestral tradition of cow herding. Fulani do sharo and have not cared wether it upsets Muhammed or not. But they told Hausa their cultural practice offends Muhammed.

They wiped out Hausa tradition and said it was offensive to Allah...but the munafikis continue to practice bestiality and Bleep cows and even swap women.

Now Hausas get on dance floor and move like Indians and Arabs....their African dance steps have left them....no rhythym, no flow....just rigid steps!

May Allah wipe fulani off the face of this earth for its multiple atrocities and hatred to mankind.

You are completely wrong my friend. You are romanticizing. Dan Fodio was not a moving, romantic figure. He was an idealistic. An Islamic purist. He built a caliphate not by design or deliberate self aggrandizenent but out of idealism and ideology.
I fund that most Nigerian are shallow and materialistic so they find it difficult to understand idealistic motivations.
If Dan Fodio had been more self motivated he wont have inspired Hausas to overthrow their kings and get please get it right that the Jihad was by mostly Hausas not Fulani
you are either ignorant or lying.
The 14 commanders of othman Dan fodio who later became the fourteen emirs of the northern kingdoms were all fulanis.
The hausas were first brought under the control of the fulanis when they accepted Islam, this made the hausas to obey their spiritual leader, othman to fight against their political leader, king yunfa.
The othman of a crook is simply a manipulator who understands the potency of spiritual authority.
Till date, the sultan of sokoto is a greater authority than even buhari.

Hausas are gone and gone for good. Not just Hausas alone, Bauchi & Yobe tribes and even Nupes & Kanuris to an extension.

The fulanis have heavily intermarried and Intermixed with the Hausas and northern minorities muslims (especially the elite and middle-class).
So do you want Hausas to be liberated from their wives, husbands, cousins and inlaws (fulanis)?

The only people who deserve a different life and destiny are the 2-4 million Hausa Christians who are mostly in Kano, Katsina & Zaria and are living as 4th class citizens on their ancestral homelands..

These ones need to emigrate to join Plateau, Southern Kaduna & Gongola Christians with whom they can easily integrate with and we all pull out of this useless country called Nigeria.

In as much as you You made a good point, I did like to point out some few errors, Kwankwaso and ganduje are both Fulani's, the only Hausa man to have rule Kano state as a was Shekarau . You can imagine how they have conquered the hausas even though they are the majority in Kano yet all Kano govs and emir of kano are Fulani, take ilorin for instance, what is Fulani population there yet is only Fulani man that can occupy that position of emir of ilorin

Shekarau is a Baburr man from Southern Borno.

Yes it's Danfodio's fault that Hausa land is poor because Danfodio's descendants who maintain and uphold his ideologies and legacy still controls the leadership structures of Hausa land.

Lol you clowns have shift the goal post when you cant win a debate. The hausa king Yunfa declared war first and lost. That beating leaves weirdos like yourself sore centuries later. I never claimed he was a saint but he's not the devil either because he conquered lands like the other empires did around him.
fodio of cursed memory is the evil wind that destroyed the north and brought in fulani menace to Nigeria.
Under what authority is fodio suggesting a religious reform?
As what?
The thing is that fodio having worked with the hausa king yunfa, have finished spying on the hausa kingdom and when he decided to go to war,he just started causing trouble.
Likewise when the British admiral Philip mischievously wanted to fight the Benin empire,he sent the oba a stick, which is an insult.
The oba killed the messenger and that's the reason the British need to invade and loot the Benin empire.
People like you should know that there are people like us here who knew the history of the world more than you can ever know

Fulanis are offsprings of Arab/Berber soldiers from North Africa who enslaved and raped Black West African women. Fulanis themselves don't know their history. They are offsprings of rape. Maternally they are related to us Black West Africans, this is why they speak a West African language. However, their paternal seed is from people who have enslaved and keep on enslaving Black people till date (Arabs).

So they are still in West Africa to keep on with that legacy, but very soon their time will be up. This I can promise them.

Yes! Hausas would have just been like Yoruba muslims today had it been Danfodio had not destroyed them. They would have been very tolerant and still hold on to their traditional values, customs, masquerades and festivals the way Yoruba muslims do.

Anyway, just to let you know that Hausa culture is not completely lost/wiped off.
There are 2-4 million Hausa Christians/pagans who are mostly centred in the deep rural areas of Zaria, Katsina & Kano and these ones still manage to hold on to the ancestral Hausa culture, traditions, festivals and even the traditional religion .... Although it is heavily and largely fading away and on the verge of extinction. It may not survive the next 25 years.

You're anology is stupid no matter how you rationalize it clown. Hausa's freely elected them and have every opportunity to change policies. Even they're in charge its still the same thing. Only idiots believe the problem with the region is mainly correlated to fulani or ceremonial institutions. When britsh came they could have adopted new ideas but chose not to.

The fulani are minority and won't be going anywhere. If losers use that foolish excuse they'll never develop. The state can abolish the traditional institutions anytime it likes. Abacha deposed the sultan once upon a time. Their issues have moved past dan fodio. The policies practiced are their issue.

The British empire burnt the Benin empire to ashes while also killing and looting its treasures, Go tell a Benin man he accepted Christianity on his own free will. Religion was an afterthought to the colonist, their first mission was to plunder the wealth of the colonised nation and they found out forcing their religion on their subject was one way to achieve their aim. King leopard came to congo under the guise to bringing religion to the savage congolease, he sought and got permission from the catholic church.

Nigerians had it better, south Americans where killed in their millions, the Congolese were also killed in their millions.

Christianity and Islam were spread by force, without force and subjugation how do you convince a man your god is better than is?

Read about the Spanish Inquisition, Read about the King leopards Colonization of congo, read about the Crusade.

LMAO You lot have no knowledge on the north whatsoever. What do you mean wiped out hausa culture? just as herdsmen practice the old way of life of the fulanis, maguzawas still practice the old ways of the people now known as hausas. Hausa tradition and culture from wedding and ceremonies to food to mode of dressing is very different from that of arabs or muslims. Culture is not defined by dancing like a possessed ape. You say fodio made hausas forsake their names, but read the names of hausa kings before fodios war. Especially those in kano who adopted muslim names since the 10/11th century. Your hatred and bile for northerners is shameless.
