Too Bad! God save the world. Not only the price, Nigeria could not lift crude to both China and Europe. Hope you know what that means? God save us Agbalowomeri: |

Looks like NEWGOLD ETF is the thing to buy in this market. I may pivot my cash to that side for safety because gold prices have been rising. |

The current state of our market has kept me in thought all day. Been monitoring world markets and it seems oil price and the DJI are on the reversal, having formed the hammer pattern.....i sure hope this is a good sign. I suspect DangCEM ( or a high-CAP stock of similar CAP) would fall and jump up lower tomorrow. Whatever it is, we are watching! |

Bomboclad: Pls gurus in the house. Can you help me torch light ETI. Ìs it a good buy at the current price? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Bomboclad: 7:29pm On Feb 27, 2020 |
Most stocks are at bargain prices at the moment, including ETI. However, personally, I cannot encourage you to purchase this stock right now for 2 reasons: 1. We do not know how soon the dip in world markets (including the NSE) would end 2. ETI offered no dividend in 2018 even after an impressive 46% increase in PAT, hence, there might be no dividend in the horizon. My advice is to choose within the likes of WAPCO, ZENITH, UCAP, etc where atleast there is a plan for dividend payment which should boost prices in the short to medium term. This is my most honest and open-book advice. tobymor: 2 Likes |

Those rushing or holding UACN for unbundling.. NOTE: last div was 64k ; so fve N6.40k UPDC current price 90k UPDC REIT last quarter unaudited result puts div at 36k ; so fve N3.60k (fve based on 10% div payout) Therefore UACN fve currently at 6.40 + 0.90 + 3.60 = N10.90k (based on pro-rata unbundling of 1 UACN for 1 UPDC for 1 UPDC REIT) Edit.. Therefore UACN fve currently at 6.40 + 0.90 + 0.30 = N7.60k (based on pro-rata unbundling of 1 UACN for 12 UPDC for 1 UPDC REIT) Dd adviced.. Am a stock novice O! Edited.. With reference to the previously updated info on details of unbundling, which stated that 1 UPDC REIT will be given for 12 UPDC units. |

theenchanter:Lol. Not intruding into anything . I was talking about UBA when the price went down to 6.60/6.65. Investors are awaiting dividend declaration and there's an expectation that the dividend will be higher than that of last year. It went up to 7.30 yesterday but closed 7naira today. Yet to announce the dividend still...............but the recent corona news is sending panic to the market generally. Why are you not interested in stock exchange investment if I may ask? You may send me mail if you dont want to discuss in public like this. Hope you're good. |
