Please can someone assist in getting dollar at reasonable price...I am planning of subscribing for eurobond...Yet aboki are giving me crazy rates, or is it advisable to purchase at this rate of #380 to a dollar
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ojesymsym: 4:38pm On Mar 11, 2020
This was Emma in July 2019.

emmanuelewumi:

Too much liquidity in the system, FG bond was 200% oversubscribed. I hope treasury bills yield won't get to 6% by December

SEC, PENCOM, Investment community,CBN and FG need to create more risk free or minimal risk instruments and derivatives.

REITs are another instruments that should be looked into by the regulators provided they are appropriately priced.

Will these over subscription ever stop? Why do people insist on these low rates. I moved my money to MMF and I think I’m better off

Live on Channels TV now

MD NNPC just stated as follows

1. 50 cargoes of Nigerias crude oil is stranded without buyers, as at last week
2. Saudi Arabia sold their crude at $22 a barrel yesterday
3. It costs $30 to produce Nigerias crude oil.

We thus in a tail spin economically

I need it to credit my bank account.

GT bank offered me 12.28% this time last year for secondary market, I was doing shakara. Glad I decisively locked in my little 7m then; which matures on March19. My other 5.5m matures in April. Since I have no need for these funds when they're available once again in my GT bank account, do I leave it in the bank, judging by the measly TB rates? And other than TB, are there other reasonable/transparent investment instrument(s) out there for my small 12.5m? Thanks guys, and please stay safe in Nigeria!

Brent went from around $76 to around $35, what do you expect? This has nothing to do with Emefiele, it is the beginning of a global recession as a result of the corona. I said it before, people do not know what is waiting in front.
