@benji93

See Bible undecided

My nigga you can get angry as much as you want, it does not change the hard facts (among others that you are hating). Another hard fact is that, that page from its title to the contents deals entirely with the present season (the title is: Records LeBron James can achieve in the 2019/2020 season or something like that).

All your babblings about context are the same frivolous justifications religious people use to change the meaning of their holy books when it does not suit the times anymore.

Predictions can hit or miss that's the reason they are predictions in the first place. Who is dumb enough to mix short term and long term predictions in the same article without differentiating which is which?

You my nigga wrote a whole epistle of nonsense. The worst is that you seem ignorant of your ignorance, maybe because you are some oldie on an e-thread in a Nigerian forum and you think it gives you any importance lmaoo

Second, you can try and hide your hate under delusions of grandeur as E-expert e-chairman e-lord and e-hater. I have seen your type repeatedly. Unless you are the owner of the forum, there is nothing you can do about me calling you whatever I feel like.

So get your shame plus some glass of water and drink it all. It will do good to your soul.

You guys are beginning to cross the line into the miasma of personal attacks that can make this place toxic. We've been there before and I bet nobody enjoyed it.

Basketball, a game, brought us together in this thread. Let's not lose track of this fact. It's only a game. Let's treat each other with dignity. Let the personal attacks stop.

Wishing injuries on players other than Lebron in the contest of carrying a team is not ignorance. It's cynicism. You clearly wrote, "Giannis next", And that doesn't speak well of you. Own it. That was a terrible utterance.

We obviously have a lot of temperamental folks here, those who can't write a couple of lines without throwing in a few insults. grin Some of them might be dealing with some inner issues and so use this means to let it all out, so don't blame them entirely smiley

I have been trying to be respectful. Don't ever call me Nigga, cos I am not. You are new here so I understand. I don't continue a chat that's not going anywhere. You don't even know what you are writing. We are all busy with one thing or another, but it seems you live on social media. Good luck with that. I can't help you cure your sickness of not being able to express yourself properly. You have to do that yourself. Go find a cure. Now back to your comment. You definitely need sound education. I had to waste my time to read the article again. I honestly don't know who depends on the USA today for reliable NBA news, when you can always follow it up on NBA reference, check the stats and make a convincing conclusion on your own. If you can't realize that the writer of that article was playing with words in the last sentence of paragraph one, you really do need that education. In fact, it's urgent. However, I have some time this morning, so I will give you some education.

Three-time NBA champion LeBron James already has a firm spot in the basketball history books in a myriad of categories, but his exact placement is becoming more clear.

As he enters his second year with the Los Angeles Lakers, the 34-year-old star — who will be paired with friend and new Laker Anthony Davis — has some significant milestones he can hit quite quickly.

James likely will reach these during the 2019-20 season if he produces similar statistics to his injury-shortened season last year.

The bolded is the entire first paragraph. You took the last sentence and drew a conclusion, leaving the context out. That's something you would learn from academic writing. If you skipped that class, I can't help you cos it's entirely your fault. That sentence was obviously a catchy conclusion to an introductory paragraph. It was to get you to read the rest of the article, which you obviously did not. All you were looking for were highlights, not a body of facts. In the penultimate sentence of the first paragraph, the writer wrote: "Lebron has some significant milestones he can hit quite quickly", but he didn't state which milestones. Then he went further in the last sentence of that paragraph "James likely will reach these during the 2019-20 season if he produces similar statistics to his injury-shortened season last year", which is obviously a reference to these milestones. By the way, a milestone doesn't have to be top ten, it could be moving into top 5 on a list he's already top ten. For instance, in assists, passing Gary Payton and Isiah Thomas was quite a milestone since those guys were traditional point guards. but he was 11th before this season commenced, so anyone that can count could have figured that out. For 3-pointers, he concluded that Lebron could pass Peja Stojaković, Rashard Lewis, Klay Thompson, Bryant, and Chauncey Billups. We know some of those guys are respectable 3-point shooters, Klay especially. He's passed all the people mentioned anyway, but that still doesn't get him into the top ten as you suggested in the first comment that led to this exchange, which was what I was disputing anyway. In fact, that guy's idea of a milestone is quite debatable. I don't know if passing an injured Klay Thompson in his 9th season can be considered a milestone. Some might, and that's quite alright. Regarding minutes, the guy clearly stated that he could pass Kobe, Wilt, and Duncan. Those guys are considered top 10 or 11 by most people, so you could consider it a milestone. The article was actually before the beginning of this season, October 16, 2019. I have no idea why you are referencing it now. You are definitely lacking in your ability to source for relevant information. The writer was playing with words, and you couldn't figure it out. That's not my problem. You also used the phrase "most categories", which is not true, not according to that article, and definitely not from any relevant source. He'll be top ten in points, assists and minutes by the end of 2019/2020 season, which he already is. He cannot get into top ten for any other category. Period. Those are 3 categories. Now go and read the article again. You may never get such an education again. grin. Again the writer used the word "milestone", which doesn't necessarily mean top ten. You took different parts of an article in different contexts and put them together. That is the definition of having comprehension issues. Be wise in your next comments. You have both expression and comprehension issues. I don't know what to do about you, honestly.
Baba you get time gan oh. Leave these hypocrites for one corner jare

What the LeBron haters won't tell you is that LeBron has made it to the finals 9 times in 16 years, that's 56% of the time. Jordan, meanwhile, went to the finals only 6 times in 15 years, amounting to only 40%. You could say Jordan went 6 for 6 in those finals, but what was he doing the remaining 9 times? Are we just going to sweep that under the carpet? In 16 years, LeBron failed to get to the finals only 7 times, like he owned the league or something, a league of 30 teams. What are the odds?

LEBRON IS THE TRUE GOAT

You actually made a sound argument. Unfortunately for you, what Usain Bolt is known for is winning gold medals not coming up second. grin. While you are content with second place, which is not a bad thing, some sportsmen actually want to win it all. They are addicted to winning. Once they get to the finals, they gotta win. Pele. 3 out of 9 is damn poor, I am afraid. You got wifed too many times. As for the other guy. He wins by a margin. He doesn't sweat it out. He crushes you. He makes you understand that he's superior. Hell no, you are not getting a game 7. No chance.grin
