Where did you learn this from? Age matters 100% in visa applications. Not just to Canada but other countries (EU and the Rest) You cannot be eg 36 applying for a Bsc. You won’t get the visa. Having admission doesn’t have anything to do with visa , else everyone will be granted a visa. Most Universities are just after your tuition, nothing more. Chukwuemeka101: |

mikeerrr:See once you get admission, you can package your document very well ,then use your National Diploma certificate or any trade certificate to apply for visa but you must be willing to explain the year gap between when you obtain the certificate and now , is it not on this forum that and 18 years person applied for visa and got rejected, Is matter of document package and God, Age doesn't come to play when it comes to education. All you have to do it, explain the age gap , mind you if you apply with your O level at age 30 or 30 something ,you may be rejected, you have to look for a higher cert more than O level to apply for visa...you can chat the VAC's up and hear from them . |

donnuel360:Google schools for masters program or post grad certificate depending on your CGPA that is suitable for your choice of program. All the documents to be submitted would be listed there. See the deadline and apply if you are within time. It’s until you get admission that you should talk about visa application. |

For the experienced people here, how can I confirm my proof of degree to Usask I am currently processing my official transcript and also need to meet the first condition stated above. Please how can I tackle this? Will sending my degree certificate suffice or do I have to visit my school (UNN) to get any form of clearance or letter. |

I want a re-issue of my international passport, someone said I should bring 35k. Is that how expensive it has been. ? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Chukwuemeka101: 7:37pm On Mar 17, 2020 |
ptoall1000:That's the price ,some will even tell you 45k , |

How are you sure the person is genuine? Last time I checked, its was done @45k and to get it quickly I will advise you to avoid going to Lagos and Abuja offices as it is kinda difficult to get booklets. Neighboring states might be your best bet to get it done faster. ptoall1000: |

donnuel360:Note a very important point. Not all programs will entitle you to stay back and get a job in Canada when you are done (PGWP - post graduate work permit). So whatever school you are applying to make sure to cross check that it is DLI (a school qualified to accept international students) and most importantly that the program you are applying for there will qualify you for a Work permit afterwards. |

The IRCC has stated that applications will not be rejected for non-compliance at this time. All applications currently in progress at IRCC offices abroad, at case processing centres, and within the Domestic Network will continue to be processed, but may experience delays. In order to prevent further spread of the coronavirus, the IRCC has temporarily closed some of its visa application centres, and others have been reduced to essential staff only. |

I think you too should be more worried about being 31 years & not getting an update since February 15th, than trying to prove “age is not factor bullshit”. I do get that you’re trying to console yourself, I totally get it. Congrats to the fella that got approved. Clearly you can see he emphasised about having a strong SOP & ensuring that other factors are good to go. I do sincerely wish you all the best in your application though. Looking forward to popping a champagne for you! Chukwuemeka101: |

Talking about Age, do they have age consideration for someone applying for Masters at age 45? Also, I have been looking for schools that offer Information security or cyber security as Masters program but most schools don’t have it as Masters but Post graduate diploma and the like. How is easy is it to get job permit or even a job after PGD? |
