Good afternoon, i will like some insightful advice on how to get this right, I have been wanting to move to the UK for quite a while but i am unable to get into the course i so much love (masters in Social work) due to my undergraduate degree in Environmental studies

I will like to know if there is a way to go about this or something like a post graduate course ?? kinda confused as i have searched everywhere on the net, all to no avail please help because i wouldn't like wasting a huge funds on courses with low potentials of securing a good job after the whole spending

Master in social works for international student ?.....I dont think that has a huge potential of securing a good job

Hi everyone, I got an admission offer for teeside University and I decided to look up about the School and the city which it's located, discovered it is in middlesbrough and didn't get a good review about the city at all in terms of it's economy/employment rate, crime rate amongst others.
Those already in the city studying could clear me out on this.

Hardly a university of that tuition range but University of Central Lancashire are offering a particular course, a good one, MSc. Accounting at £9600. If it falls within your career field you might wanna consider

i am currently studying in Teesside University and for the couple of months I have been here there haven’t been a security concern. As for jobs in Middlesbrough surely you will find something doing as a student if you can work your ass off you will even make more money that you can save I mean good money. Least I forget the house you will get in Middlesbrough for £200 per month you get the same house for like £800-£1000 in Manchester or London. Middlesbrough is typically the cheapest city to live in Europe. As for professional jobs it is difficult to find in Middlesbrough because most companies are sited in the south. Let me reiterate you will surely find something doing in Middlesbrough,if you can work you will make more money!

you can get! Teesside ,Sheffield Hallam, Salford amidst others charges between £9500-£10500 for some courses after the usual scholarship benefits given to all students.

First time they did I let them in and got wrong.

I moved somewhere else and they did random checks and knocked on my door, I didn’t let them in and till today, never came with warrant.

Which schools have you tried? Look for schools whose requirements clearly states that any degree can be accepted.

Meanwhile, I think environmental studies is quite related but it all depends how well you can create and show the link while writing your personal statement.

Other ways of convincing the admission team of your interest are: (1) by highlighting your job descriptions and achievements while you worked in a similar role as a social worker. It could be voluntary during undergraduate or real job after graduating, (2) what's your personality? Do you have what it takes to be a social worker? How was it formed? What encounter(s) did you have while growing up that led to your desire to advocate for other people? State all or some of these and (3) your particular area of interest (young or old people, disabled, etc)

Additionally, tell them what you plan to do with the skills acquired from the program in the future? How beneficial would your participation be to your department, the school and the society at large?
