Keep justifying criminality. Their salary scale is the same with civil defence if not better. Some people don't have job or salary at all, and they don't embrace crimes. Even police in USA complain about poor salary but they never indulge in extortion. Oga, let's admit, corruption is our own pandemic in Nigeria. Even a contractor who won a 10 billion naira contract will give reasons why he collected money but failed to execute the project.

From Edo state to Delta state, the so called IGP X Squad are worse than kidnappers. Whatever you do, don't pray to fall into their hands. They will take you from Delta state to a small police post along Benin warri express road and lock you up for days until you agree to pay them nothing less than 500k.
They go as far as taking you to the front of a notorious prison called White House along Sapele road and force you to an ATM to empty your account. The government should create a monitoring unit to check the activities of these men. You are helpless once they arrest you
