If you want to change the world, Yes it's worth it.

Normally, you should look at the salary scale of the people doing what you will get to be doing after you are through with your 3 years PhD program, juxtapose it and weigh your options if it is worth it.

That is the only reasonable thing we can advice you right now with the little information you gave up there.

All the very best.

A PhD is always worth it., especially in Nigeria where lecturers with PhD aren't very common.

Dats after corona virus pls. Or how are u sure Uk immigration policy wont change completely after dis virus.

Covid 19 is busy teaching nations lessons concerning immigration policy.

Moreover, you are just like our corrupt politicians who take our money to foreign land and after you'l come back and look for job in Nigeria.

With 16M ,i will set up a viable busness in which i will employ at least 15people. (taking 15 people out of estreme poverty).

By that 3years, i can confortably employ a Pdh holder.

If you're offered a lecturing job while you're doing your PhD, better. Else 16million is huge.

Trello:
Hello everyone - I'm not quite sure whether this is the right section to post this.

Anyways, I currently hold a Master's degree and I also recently gained admission into a PhD program in a UK university but with no funding from the school and the estimated total cost of the tuition and living expenses amount to about #16 million for the 3 years.

So, I decided to come seek the opinion of folks here with better experience if it really worth spending this amount in the long run or should I rather invest this amount?

Thank you in advance!
No it's not worth it at all my bro. You should look for scholarships for that though. You should have enlightened yourself from d travel section by now naw

Excuse me Sir/Ma,

Do not try it

I repeat DO NOT TRY IT

Pls invest this on Canada, either start your PR journey in naija OR If you actually have the money, I will say go to to canada for another masters, then process your PR.

Still when you come back you will campaign and rig election for individual who has no secondary school certificate to be your president, that is if you didn't engage in ballot snatching.

Education is good but with the situation around the globe and most especially to this country Nigeria....my guy investment is the best... spend that money on acquiring PhD doesn't make any sense now.unless if you are from a wealthy family where such amount is nothing...

PhD is very cheap in New Zealand even without funding, if you are married your wife can work full time without restrictions. Unlike most European countries, English is the official language,so no language barrier. UK is a little overrated, all they want is your money. Be wise

If it is a PhD, it is a good investment however try searching for funding as there are loads of them available to ease the financial burden.

Do not limit ur destination tothe UK only, explore the US, Australia, Canada, and other 1st world countries. Good luck in ur endeavours
