I’m beginning to see even my own pastor, and most of the pastors in Nigeria as common rogues, criminals and scammers who won’t even put financial gains at hold even when it could lead to the death of their followers. Jesus was a selfless man who had nothing yet gave the world his life. I seriously think it’s time I reconsider my faith. Something is wrong with most of pastors and we so called Christians. I seriously think we are just dummies following some Satans parading themselves as MOgs. And I think the Corona virus is Gods way of exposing these fraudsters. From your observation, this is a scam created by fraudulent people to obtain ATM details and money from unsuspecting members of the Church. The Church should as a matter of urgency issue a warning to the public.

I'm a member of winners but sometimes, acts by the bishop makes me ponder. His preachings a times are questionable. He makes some statements you shouldn't even hear from a man of God but all the same, God knows best.

Secondly where are these pastors when you need their miracle the most, these men are extremely great at using reverse psychology. These online platforms for collecting offerings are not new. I don't know what the people that brought this one up want to achieve.

But let me educate you about the administrative and accounting procedures of Living Faith Church which are RUN by members (these are called statutory bodies) and NOT pastors or Bishops.

In each assembly, there is:
1) a Church Board headed by an Elder:
2) a Local Church Council headed by a Deacon
3) a Financial Managemeny Committee headed by a member with professional knowledge in finance and accounting;
4) an Audit Committee headed by a member who should usually be a chartered accountant; and
5) a Deacons Board.

The heads and secretaries of statutoru body 1, 2 and 3 are the signatories to the Church's bank accounts. Some selected members from these bodies form the Budget Commitee which prepares the local assembly's annual budget and defends it at the State Head Church to secure approval.

It is through this approved budget that roads and church auditoriums are built, musical instruments, sound systems, medical gadgets and supplies are procured, and other needs of the local church are catered for.

The Winners Satellite Fellowship and the Hospitality Unit handle the welfare of members. Even as we speak now, members needs are being met through these platforms world wide.

I know all these because I have been in these statutory bodies in the past in my assembly.

Last year the Church planted more than 5,000 churches in Nigeria alone. This year we are planting more than 10,000. I believe the devil does not want this and that is why this is coming up. But he cannot prevail because Jesus will build His Church.

Corporate strategic drift. It is business and they are adapting to a new way of making money and keeping the customers happy.

All i'd say is that no one needs to be discouraged because a "man of God" or a church disappointed them by their actions. Your relationship should be with God and not man/church. The problem we have in this country is we put our trust in man instead of God. Search the Scriptures yourself and rely on the Holy Spirit.
