Unfortunately you cannot relocate except you’ve got a job offer & they process your work visa.

That’s why most people go through the study route but sadly only 20% get to stay back. Rest end up coming back to Nigeria.

Study visa is not meant for immigration.
It’s strictly for study.

Then with your age & not knowing the language is another barrier. I know that some companies that don’t hire people above 30 (because they want fresh energy). Then your lack of foreign experience is another thing.

Your best option is just going to study and hope for the best. Only 1% get to stay back in France because their system don’t want immigrants.

Also anyone going to a country to study with the aim of staying back is taking a gamble. It can either work or not.

The whole purpose of studying abroad is for better education not to remain there. That’s why it’s hard to switch from study visa to PR. Except you’re heading to Canada , Australia etc

However, I do not blame them as well.
If you think about it from another perspective, you wouldn’t fault them. Imagine if Nigeria was like U.K. or all them countries, then people from chad or other these yeye countries are coming to take your jobs and benefit from your country. How would you feel? You will be like ogbeni o, Abeg all these people should go back. Same thing with Ghana must go.

So it makes sense as to why they don’t want people to stay back after studying. They have already rendered the service you paid for; Oya start going. It’s only if you’re an asset that they can reconsider. Who doesn’t want an asset? Unfortunately most immigrants are liabilities than assets. One man will carry his 5 kids in the name of dependents. They are studying for free. On top tax payers money.

You can get U.K. if you have the money & see if you can secure a job within that 2 years post study visa. You can try Canada too even though their strict with visas. US is no chance how.

You can apply to study in Germany from other countries but you will still follow the same blocked account process. I don’t know how much you have but by the time you move to other countries with expenses , tuition etc, I doubt you will still have enough for the blocked account requirement. You should rather apply to Canada or others that don’t require blocked funds & you have better chances of getting the PR.

Thanks for the detailed response. I appreciate how much time you took to properly explain it all indepth! So now, inregards to the study option, what would be the requirement and process for one to study in France? You seem well informed on this subject and I would really appreciate if you could offer some insight on the process of immigrating to France as a student.

I think it’s already too late for this years intake.
However if you’re looking at next year, you have to find universities offering your desired program & check that you meet their requirements.

Masters is around €3770 per year in public unis but limited seats.

The private ones are from €10k per year & there’s always seat as long as you meet their requirements.

When you get the offer, you will create an account on CampusonFrance.

That’s where you will do your visa application etc. You can also apply to the universities from the campusFrance portal (whichever way that suits you). Some schools will also request for an interview before giving you an offer. It depends on your previous qualifications (grades).

If you’re going to learn in English ,you need IELTS.

When you get the offer, you will upload it on the COF portal & you will be asked to pay 50k. You will also need to pay your tuition deposit (if required) to get the official acceptance letter, which you will also upload on the portal.

After you’ve paid that 50k, you will be invited for a pre visa interview. Once you pass the interview, you’re already on your way to France. The main visa application will be to submit your passport etc. You will also pay about €25*** at the embassy for the actual application.

You will also need to secure an accommodation & get a certificate that you will take with you to the main visa appointment. Your school will send you the link around MAY for you to apply for accommodation. Usually through CROUS portal.

Please house I need an experienced advice as to why I was denied. I have just been refused a visa with my wife and kid and I feel it’s totally unfair because I submitted every necessary information required of me and had enough funds for our trip. Reason for my refusal was stated

*Information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and condition of the intended trip was not reliable*

Please what do they mean or are these just generic reasons for denying people visas this time of pandemic.

No country have time for visa right now. What the world is going through now is more than visa issue.

If you are a doctor / nurse that want to volunteer to help in France or other European countries then your case is different. They might issue you visa. Other than that, please forget visa application for now

Don't waste your time appealing.
And don't bother reapplying either, given the current situation. The EU is debating closing its external borders to non-EU citizens up till at least June, and possibly till September. Tourist visa applications will most likely go nowhere, especially from a country like Nigeria where the outbreak is deemed not yet controlled.

you are so correct, pure waste of time especially with this pandemic.Even those that have the visa since last month could not use it
